I'd love it as an alternate yeah.

That being said, part of me kinda wishes he'd come back as Old Snake or maybe we should get Peace Walker era Big Boss though

Of course he should bring the croc cap. How else is he gonna sneak into K. Roll's?

The young Solid Snake is the iconic hero, though- But Old Snake is another alternate costume that'd be neat, especially if he got an alternate voice track by David Hayter with a lung infection again.

I sure said that!

Would Snake return as Punished Snake, or would that be a costume for Solid Snake?

Yeah, Punished Snake is Big Boss, so is Naked Snake.

Solid Snake and Old Snake are the same person though

It would be pretty cool if Snake's alternate costumes were just all the different Snakes- even the ones that aren't Solid (Peach could become Daisy, so why not?)

The Metroid II manual, though it was unclear if 6'3 189 Lbs referred to Samus in or outside of her suit. (Either she was a very tall woman, or the power suit was made of paper mache). The Super Metroid guide book established those figures referred to her outside of the suit (tall woman).

But let's be honest here. The Metroid series has never been the best with continuity. The first game's manual described Metroids has harmless if left alone while the game themself clearly described them as invaders (though what they invaded was not entirely clear). The third game then just changed them into incredibly dangerous parasites that needed to be eradicated.

...and much shorter than Samus
Beautiful! Even the slimmed down Brawl version looks exactly like powered armour should. I the M suit is a travesty (at least the fusion one had a reason for the way it looked), 2, don't know what you've got till its gone.

It might be the alien DNA that makes her so big, IIRC Chozo themselfs were quite tall.

Yeah, she is not quite a normal person by this point and I remember some Chozo being even taller than her.

Don't remember them being taller than her in the suit though.

Weren't the Chozo bosses in Super Metroid taller than armoured Samus?

I'm not too up on my Metroid lore. I just assumed the actual Chozos were turned into statues.

I guess that's wrong?

Not quite but if I remember correctly I think the statues are somewhat alive and not just machines.

I want to say some sort of cyborg/bio mechanical thing but I'm not sure.

They're not normal Chozo turned into statues, that much I know.

Not sure how big real Chozo were.

The Chozo Ghosts in Metroid Prime are around Samus's size, maybe a bit bigger, though.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!

Eh, the only Chozo we encountered were disembodied "ghosts", but 6'3 189 lbs is not inconceivable. (Compared to say, the 6'9 240 Isis) but she would probably have more defined or larger muscle groups than her zero suit depiction often suggest (it is a in the normal BMI range, it is just her legs and waist that are too slim to be believable, so I chalk that up to writers cannot do math/artists are not architects. Interestingly, the original Fusion concept art would have given her biceps bigger than her waist, do not ask me to try and guess what anyone with that absurd comic book build would weight in real life, which means her slimmer appearance may have been over compensation.

Adventure Mode apparently is back and seems to be like Melee's.

It's a little vague, though, wording-wise. Hence the apparently phrasing I'm using.
