I get the impression that the only non-Ware Wario game that Sakurai has played is Wario World. The Wild Swing-Ding and Corkscrew originated there. Wario's trademark Dash Attack and Ground Pound were also featured in that game.
I'm actually surprised that none of Dedede's pictures show him using the Waddle Dee Toss. Waddle Dees are really significant to his character in Smash.
Also, I hope since they're technically projectiles that the Villager can catch them with his pocketing move. That would be funny. Especially for Gordos.

They only count as projectiles in the general sense...they don't work like the actual item/energy projectiles.
I do mean his own logo, yes.
Tingle pretty much migrated over to his own series now. Other than the WW remake, he stopped being in Zelda games besides pure cameos at best since... Minish Cap.
Unless he actually shows up in the newest Zelda Wii U game, it makes more sense that he shows that he's his own man now. Or fairy, if you will.
I feel he's no different from Wario in this regard. At least, for a while now. Wario Land was still based upon Super Mario Land, but once Wario Ware came around, he really started to separate from the Mario platformers. At least gameplay-wise. Story-wise, too, from what I know of.

Shadow? His trophy was still under the Legend of Zelda heading in Brawl though, yes?
You can follow that train of lo-... thought if you want, but I seriously doubt the Smash Bros team would consider him a fully-separate character.

I have a message from another time...Wario was under the Mario section in Melee, and got changed over to Wario Ware in Brawl.
Tingle easily could too if he's made playable. And one of his cited games is indeed his own, Tingle's Rupeeland. They don't even have to change what games he's from, just the symbols. The only problem I have with more trophies is their uncanny valley style and how creepy they look. Which I doubt would matter if he repped his own series, so eh.
Shadow? He's currently not there in Smash.
But Tingle does star in his own unique series. So I do think of him as that, a protagonist of his own games. Which... is actually correct. I just wish they had American appearances, but popularity is annoying sometimes. XD
I can think of him using his Balloon for Up B, his Maps and Rupees as various weapons, but I can't think of much that could work for unique attacks. I gotta look up the Tingle Tuner options. He could do a lot given some work. He's pretty varied.
As for the Rosalina thing, very nice. Controlling both at once with different attacks is going to make her pretty challenging to work with.
Shadow? From what's been shown about Rosalina's play style, she reminds me a lot of Golbez, as he appeared in the Dissidia games, if only for the fact that they can both attack up close and from a distance at the same time.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805The first thing that came to mind with today's picture was Background Halo. The second thing was LUMARYUKEN!

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Isn't that a feature of the Wii U, though? (At least, in most Wii U games and all Wii games after a recent firmware update...)
pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSWith Regards to the Tingle discussion: I highly, HIGHLY doubt that he would be a playable character. If only because American players despise him. That, and his games not only have not been released anywhere but japan, but I'm fairly sure Americans don't actually WANT his games released in English.
I just realized something! In the trailer that announced Rosalina and Luma, the music they used in the very beginning is the intro music from Kirby Air Ride!
Did that fact make some people think we'd get a sequel or remake to Kirby Air Ride for Wii U or something?

If the Wii U pad isn't going to be used for fighting with a fifth player, I wonder if it could be used to freely take pictures of in progress matches from different angles without interrupting it?

You just meant rep his own game with his design, right? Not giving him his own series logo instead?
Because if the latter there'd would be all sorts of a s***storm if that actually happened.
