Fire Emblem has a lot of Handheld and Console versions, so...
Especially if we see Ike back, either Game Cube is easy pickings for a Console stage. I forget, was there a Wii FE game?
Shadow?Radiant Dawn was a Wii Game.

I never got the problem with different stages. If we're going to have two different games, might as well differentiate them as much as possible. Differing characters is a bad idea for obvious reasons, but most people aren't buying the games for the stages. Different stages will allow for a different experience however.
If you could connect any copy to the opposing version and get every exclusive character(well, that was unlocked at the time), it wouldn't be that bad, but I'd rather be able to unlock them all with one copy. Stages only go so far, and it does make for two unique metas. I think Tag Team might stick more to the 3DS version due to easier controllers to work with. It also depends on votes and such. Whomever likes the console version better, etc.

Shadow? You never got the problem with paying around $140 to get the amount of content that could have all been one disc instead?
The different experience is Smash on the go.
Yes it would. Smash should never have exclusive characters. Ever.
Connecting to get other characters would just highlight how much of a case of One Game for the Price of Two it is.
Considering the Metagame pretty much bans any stage that has a gimmick greater than "moving platforms", "two unique metas" will be about 15% each game's stages being allowed to be played.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMNo game in particular. If I recall, Sakurai said that he wanted to capture the feel of FE in general, but not tie it to a particular setting.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.It's possible he took a few sprinkles from one of the latest games.
But makes sense. I feel he covers multiple Dungeon styles with the Temple stage. Not a giant amount. Kind of like the Pokemon Stadiums as well. What about Arena Ferox? I know it's on the 3DS as is, of course, but is the arena's design solely from Awakening?
Shadow? No one knows for sure if that's the case or not except the devs, so this is something that cannot really be complained about until the game is actually released.
