: Like I said, that list was mostly wishful thinking. The only reason I even brought it up was because I had just realized that Met from Gotcha Force was a reference to the mook from Mega Man.
There was a minor reference to the series in Capcom Fighting Jam, where one of the character's Midnight Bliss forms was one of the Gotcha Borgs, but there hasn't been any reference to the series since, as far as I know.
Not surprised that trophies are split between versions. Disappointed that they appear to be pulling models from the respective games again though, if Saria is any indication (though her appearance is based more on Ocarina of Time 3D at least). I can see certain obsessive completionists frothing at the mouth if they weren't planning on buying both versions of the game.

I just saw three of them. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't hear the part "He also does crack and heroin." part.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMIt's an Easter Egg that became memetic. You can find it by clicking a certain spot on the main menu for 2, IIRC.

Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987The Bowser's Road theme has never been in Smash before and you're suggesting it's grand debut should be on the Sonic stage of all things?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMYes. I wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise.
Again, it's just wishful thinking. If I was being serious, I'd suggest it'd be used in a Bowser's Castle stage.
From what I've heard, the theme was essentially remixed into the (one of) main theme(s) for Melee (usually heard as the default Menu theme) for some odd reason, and while I can hear the same melody, I don't think that really counts.
Well, they can use one of the many mashups between the Bowser Road and Crisis City themes, can't they?
Because it's lazy. Because it causes undeserving jerks like the Barrel Blast/Jet Race crew to get trophies. Because people would like to see HD models of characters who never were that detailed.
That's your opinion.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMReplaced Falco for Krystal instead of replacing Wolf like most people do? I approve!
Replaced Ike... approval waning...
EDIT: Wait, no Ice Climbers?
EDIT EDIT:
Ice Climbers are back? Acceptable!
Also, I wouldn't have all three of the Project Rainfall protagonists personally. Shulk's fine by himself. Add Takamaru.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMHonestly, making new renders of characters would just be a waste of resources that they could instead use to make the actual gameplay better or stages more detailed or etc. The trophies have always been nothing more than bonus content that's cool to look at and nothing more.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Or put all those 3DS exclusive stages into the Wii U version...
So nobody is allowed to complain about Brawl having tripping too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI'll remember to bring these words up the next time you complain about something.
Same here. I'm just using an example of why that logic is defeatist.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI admit, it can get annoying from time to time, but I never saw it as such a game-breaking problem like some people seem to. It's a part of the game, and I got used to it. Plus, it gives a good opportunity to perform a "getting up from the ground" attack (I don't know if those have an official name), and I like those a lot.
I said constantly complaining about it. There's a difference between complaining about something and harping on something, and the latter is what I'm referring to.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.To be honest, as much as people seem to want them, I don't expect costumes. There's the obvious Wii Fit Trainer Gender Switcheroo thing, but aside from that and Wario, I doubt they're going to spend the time to do much more than palette swaps. Maybe if they have the time and resources left over after finishing all the core mechanics and stages and characters and what have you, sure, but costumes seem like they'd just be really negligible bonus content.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. You clearly missed the part where I agreed with Odie about it not bothering me much and that it was just an example.

I'd rather the costumes be unlockable.
