It's from the Brawl Taunts series. Same place as this:

@Evi l Paladin: Like I said, that list was mostly wishful thinking. The only reason I even brought it up was because I had just realized that Met from Gotcha Force was a reference to the mook from Mega Man.

There was a minor reference to the series in Capcom Fighting Jam, where one of the character's Midnight Bliss forms was one of the Gotcha Borgs, but there hasn't been any reference to the series since, as far as I know.

Not surprised that trophies are split between versions. Disappointed that they appear to be pulling models from the respective games again though, if Saria is any indication (though her appearance is based more on Ocarina of Time 3D at least). I can see certain obsessive completionists frothing at the mouth if they weren't planning on buying both versions of the game.

I just saw three of them. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't hear the part "He also does crack and heroin." part.

It's an Easter Egg that became memetic. You can find it by clicking a certain spot on the main menu for 2, IIRC.

Also, this needs to be in the game, preferably in Sonic's stage, since, to me, it sounds like a Sonic Team-styled variation of the song.

The Bowser's Road theme has never been in Smash before and you're suggesting it's grand debut should be on the Sonic stage of all things?

Yes. I wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise.

Again, it's just wishful thinking. If I was being serious, I'd suggest it'd be used in a Bowser's Castle stage.

From what I've heard, the theme was essentially remixed into the (one of) main theme(s) for Melee (usually heard as the default Menu theme) for some odd reason, and while I can hear the same melody, I don't think that really counts.

Well, they can use one of the many mashups between the Bowser Road and Crisis City themes, can't they? tongue

Oh, please don't just be ported models again.
I really don't get the hatred people have of that. I think it's cool to have stuff from the original games looking like they did in their original games rather pointlessly being remade and rerendered

Because it's lazy. Because it causes undeserving jerks like the Barrel Blast/Jet Race crew to get trophies. Because people would like to see HD models of characters who never were that detailed.

That's your opinion.

Seriously fuck the Barrel Blast Crew. Those shit heads don't deserve to cut Diddy Kong's ass hair, and they get trophies!? Fuckers better show up as Goldeen style assists to make up for this digression.

Seriously, what point is there to waste precious resources to recreate stuff which only appear as trophies? What next, people think they should make original sticker designs?

I decided to make another dream roster. I updated it with some of the characters we found out about since I made my last one. Red borders signify characters that have to be unlocked.

Replaced Falco for Krystal instead of replacing Wolf like most people do? I approve!

Replaced Ike... approval waning...

EDIT: Wait, no Ice Climbers?

EDIT EDIT:

There we go. I just removed the random icon. There are now fifty character slots with twenty-five unlockables.

Ice Climbers are back? Acceptable!

Also, I wouldn't have all three of the Project Rainfall protagonists personally. Shulk's fine by himself. Add Takamaru.

Honestly, making new renders of characters would just be a waste of resources that they could instead use to make the actual gameplay better or stages more detailed or etc. The trophies have always been nothing more than bonus content that's cool to look at and nothing more.

It's not worth it to complain about that at this point. That's a decision I doubt they're going to change now.

So nobody is allowed to complain about Brawl having tripping too.

Personally, if I had it my way, yes. I'm sick of hearing people complain about the tripping. If you don't like a single mechanic in a game so much to the point that you're constantly complaining about it, either play a different game or get used to it.

I'll remember to bring these words up the next time you complain about something.

[up]Same here. I'm just using an example of why that logic is defeatist.

I admit, it can get annoying from time to time, but I never saw it as such a game-breaking problem like some people seem to. It's a part of the game, and I got used to it. Plus, it gives a good opportunity to perform a "getting up from the ground" attack (I don't know if those have an official name), and I like those a lot.

[up]I said constantly complaining about it. There's a difference between complaining about something and harping on something, and the latter is what I'm referring to.

I do hope that For will have DLC for stuff like stages and shit. I mean, it seems that Nintendo is accepting DLC more and more.

Stages seems pretty likely. Seems like a good avenue for costumes to.

No.

Well, maybe stages. But Nintendo has been really good about DLC being meaningful additions to the game. Paid costumes are bullshit, and they would shun them with their current DLC policy.

To be honest, as much as people seem to want them, I don't expect costumes. There's the obvious Wii Fit Trainer Gender Switcheroo thing, but aside from that and Wario, I doubt they're going to spend the time to do much more than palette swaps. Maybe if they have the time and resources left over after finishing all the core mechanics and stages and characters and what have you, sure, but costumes seem like they'd just be really negligible bonus content.

You clearly missed the part where I agreed with Odie about it not bothering me much and that it was just an example.

[up][up][up]I'd rather the costumes be unlockable.
