Honestly, even with WFT inclusion, I don't get who the heck would want her or Villager in the game <_< I mean, seriously. Just because you like the Animal Crossing, why would you want character from it in this game? Nope, don't get it. Same way I don't get wanting characters like Anju from Zelda in the game

Because it's fun.
Meh, sounds boring.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMWhat is fun? I clearly can't comprehend fun
Other things I still don't get: Wanting more third party characters like Snake in the game. I mean, look at the cast of Playstation All-Stars, if you get enough that type of characters, cast starts looking like its composed of rough rugged action heroes :P And that game isn't composed of that type of characters surprisingly, I know that. Still makes charts which shows iconic game characters in 2013 make rather lame compared to ones from 90s. And I still don't get wanting final boss of the game or random cool side character from it. I mean, why from cast of Fire Emblem would you want to have, say, Medeus or Lucius playable? Former would make a better boss or assist trophy while latter would be sticker/with luck trophy/with incredible luck an assist trophy.
And third thing I don't get is wanting to replace main character or really popular character with your own favourites :P I mean, Marth is most iconic Fire Emblem character in the Japan and probably overseas too considering that series got famous because of Smash Bros in first place. Just because you haven't ever played those games and don't find them interesting doesn't mean he should be replaced... Thats like wanting to get rid of Pikachu. Nay, that would actually making sense... I mean that would be like saying that they should get rid of Pikachu.

The stupidest part was those who said Lucina should replace him.
Yeah, replace the most important character in the series with a one-shot character who pretended to be him (obvious plot twist) in the most recent game for the sake of advertising Awakening? I'm glad Marth got confirmed earlier. It's means I don't have to hear anymore of that ridiculous suggestion.
Also, when if Sheik gets confirmed, then we'll lose all those annoying "Impa should replace Sheik" arguments too.
Thank you.
@Nap1100
- I'd rather the axe in his Side B doesn't act like a boomerang and disappears on contact instead, but overall, good moveset!

Still waiting on what Klump and Krusha bring to the table.
My reasoning is that he already played more like another Fire Emblem character. Brawl gave him that trust he sometimes does for his shield breaker but you know what Marth is really known for using? The Fire Emblem. Nobody finds that odd he has nothing to do with it and instead employs lithe, Slice-and-Dice Swordsmanship style? As said, the Super Smash Bros. page might be wrong about his personality being akin to Sigurd's(don't feel like checking right now) but his playing style definitely resembles it more than his own.
The other suggested character for replacing Marth? Well, Anna has actually been in more Fire Emblem games than Marth. To me she is more "iconic" to the series than he is and has four possible class paths to Marth's, who does not even promote. But as pointed, when I actually thought about it a little more I would drop Ike before Marth. But still, he is not all that to me.
Medeus, he was just brought up initially to dispute why Ridley should be playable from what I read of this thread. (Marth is iconic, the face of Fire Emblem, Medeus is his arch enemy and thus of similar importance to Ridley. Charizard is iconic to Pokemon, ect ect, Ridley would be hard to code and there are many fire breathing dragons that "deserve it just as much as him")
Still, some final bosses or simple recurring villains I think would be more interesting for their potential as playable characters than as sub space esque bosses. Besides being important and all, many are human sized or easy enough to scale to Smash Bros proportions and in general are easier to see fighting the way Bowser and Ganondorf currently do than, say, 23 foot Rayquaza or Porky who has to scale to Ness before you add in his machine. (Even then, I think the original machine he used in Earthbound might have still made him the same size as or smaller than Bowser
)
Ashera's human sized and though she could still be a type of my rules are not your rules Masterhandish boss I'd rather translate her moves into playable form.(erect barriers at places other players want to pass, temporarily turn opponents to stone, call out an elemental spirit, blast whit "holy" spells that tend to fly in funky arrangements, not to mention all the godly apocalypse hows she could use for final smashes. The only issue I see is that people might get sick of the "magician in a dress" look that Zelda, Peach and now Rosalina already have)
As a player, I know her crap intimately and it would be fun to loose it all at other people on command. Alternatively, it would be nice to see the life ending god get knocked around New Pork City by Pikachu, swarmed by Pikmin or desperately running away from a two dimensional octopus. You could not get that kind of satisfaction from a boss rush mode encounter. I imagine it is the same reason why Sabertooth, Blackheart, Dormammu, Dr. Doom and Venom were all playable characters in the Marvel Vs Capcom games. Why shouldn't the villains get in on the crazy crossover fights? Especially in a fighting game where everyone is balanced to a degree? Bosses are typically going to be My Rules Are Not Your Rules or suffer from the SNK Boss syndrome, which is not always as satisfying as giving them competitive balance and letting the players go crazy.

I meant what will they bring to the table fighting style-wise? What will Klump/Krusha do that isn't covered by DK, Bowser, Dedede and Ganondorf (and K Rool if he is added)?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMKrusha is buffer than any of the characters you mentioned, and with the tights seems like he's more of a wrestler than any of the others.
Klump is more in line with K. Rool, but since K. Rool has a bunch of very eclectic moves to be derived from boss battles, Klump can be a bit more physical, throwing his weight around, as opposed to needing to work with a giant, bouncing, canonball-and-crown-throwing crocodile.
Although, since this is Chemical Plant Zone, there'd have to at least be some damage taken from it, maybe 1% every second you're submerged in it. Who knows, maybe (wishful thinking time) the water rises to a certain point, and whoever is underneath it for a certain amount of time gets to hear this...
^^ When the chime runs out, the fish from Balloon Fight shows up out of nowhere and eats you.
^ Maybe next time. It's Windy Hill for the Sonic stage this time, isn't it?

Hell, it's not even like they need to create new art assets for it either!
Yeah, but now Sonic's a veteran, so he deserves at least two stages, no? (Discounting Green Hill Zone, I suppose. I was always really meh on that stage, and Windy Hill Zone is pretty much Green Hill Zone Rehash #1735 anyway.)

Insert witty 'n clever quip here. You don't have to be sorry. It was only posted today like five pages earlier.
It's not like it was a month old or anything.
If you wanted to change the topic you shouldn't have said "fightin' words" about Ike.
Roy can die in a fire. A fire caused by his flame-based moveset.
Didn't you just say something about avoiding topics that were "asking for third-degree burns."?
Anna is basically the Nurse Joy of the series. Appears in every game but is never the same character. And isn't a main character either, so don't bother bringing up Link.
Medeus was in one game though, Ridely is in the majority of Metroid games.
Wow, I never ever thought I'd see myself defend Ridley.
Height-wise it's fine, but it looks a bit too wide.

He stares through your soul!
Reggie eats a thousand Non-Specific Action Figures for breakfast!
No.
I guess Samus should be cut because she reminds us of Metroid: Other M then?
Except instead of doing knockback damage, you could swim in it. I thought it'd always be cool if Smash had a stage where the water rises and lowers. No, not counting Summit. Besides, it's the iceberg sinking, not the water rising.
With a Meteor Smash property by getting hit with the axe mid-air if the move is used in mid-air, sure.
...well, I don't have a name, but it's based on 3-B (A Banquet with Hisstocrat) from Super Mario 3D World. I think the gimmick is obvious- Hisstocrat watches the fighting while summoning snake platforms. Some have cracked plates that, if you stand on, will cause them to break the plates and bite you, and others will just flat-out bite you if you get near.
That's a cool idea. Though I'd rather a 3D World stage that looks more like the regular levels.
I hope it gets a stage, and not simply because the 3DS has a 3D Land stage.
