Crisis City would be an interesting stage, to say the least, but it probably hits too close to home for most Sonic fans, even after Generations
Now, a Chemical Plant Zone-based stage...maybe even with a similar gimmick to that one Metroid stage whose name I can't remember with the rising lava (Brinstar?) except with the purple water?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Yeah, did a bit of Wiki searching, and came out with Armads being the obvious Final Smash.
Actually, he does a lot of leaping chops for his basic battle actions, so perhaps just a really big one would be his recovery.
Maybe a Hand Axe as a side B projectile?

I don't have Awakening on hand at the moment. Are those official artwork things, or is it just what you get for not customizing anything?

I have a message from another time...Chemical Plant Zoen gets my
. Casino Night Zone would be nice, too.
Also, I hope amidst this whole Robin debate no one minds if I share a stage idea I saw on Miiverse...
...well, I don't have a name, but it's based on 3-B (A Banquet with Hisstocrat) from Super Mario 3D World. I think the gimmick is obvious- Hisstocrat watches the fighting while summoning snake platforms. Some have cracked plates that, if you stand on, will cause them to break the plates and bite you, and others will just flat-out bite you if you get near.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It could be a short boomerang-like thing.
I was thinking his other specials would more use Super Armor or something similar to emphasize how he just doesn't care about getting punched in the face or slashed at. Kind of like here.

That's not true at all, just look at the official website.
Those are just the first among the many sample faces they presented on the official site. They aren't the default anything.
Why does anyone want Robin anyway? Just because mage lord? His whole gimmick is that he has unlimited reclass options and thus can do anything, so how do you properly represent that in a moveset? Unless you want to just limit it to his base classes.
Also, as a character without a real appearance, he isn't used in promotional stuff or the like and thus isn't very iconic either. I'll be honest, him getting in repping Awakening over Chrom or even Lucina would just lead to scratching heads.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.
Keep telling yourself that. Also, making Lucina playable would be the headscratcher.
@0dd1 - I had a cool idea for a Seaside Hill stage, that also implements how it's in Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing and it's sequel. Basically, Delphino Plaza-style stage meets Mute City-style stage.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMUsing the result you get from not changing any of the defaults would be as good as anything, I guess.
But who knows? Perhaps that's one of the things that could be customized on the 3DS version (or maybe it could look for an Awakening save file, if you're really ambitious.)
But if all else ails, and you don't want to use the base settings, then Robin could keep the hood up.
edit:
For Mario 3D World stages, I'd like something based on the last world in the main story. So flashy...

If we are chatting about potential sonic stages, I would suggest the arena where the first boss fight takes place in the original sonic game- two stationary platforms, and the Eggmobile could serve as a third, moving platform.
But maybe that's just me.

It's worth noting that the demo version itself gives you a default Robin with brown hair, so unless you're going to actively try to ignore the first impression of the game that its creators intend to leave prospective buyers, the website appearance is pretty weak evidence.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyYou have brought shame and dishonour to this board, Mortal. Leave thy presence now!
That's mine too.
I have the demo. They give him white hair.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI have. Where do you think all of those faces on the wiki came from? We didn't pull them out of our asses.
I am sorry, but I feel kinda insulted that folks with limited knowledge of the game are acting like they somehow know more about what they are talking about.
Also, I didn't appreciate Magcargo Man basically saying "I have no proper retort to that so I am just going to brush it off with a rude comment". If you got nothing to say, don't say anything. Trying to get the last word in with nothing just makes you look petty. (and trust me, I am an expert on petty. I am very petty)
EDIT: As for Lucina, I meant more in terms of who'd be more iconic towards the game being represented. Lucina has been in advertisement since the beginning and is pretty much the third lord. I wasn't advocating her being playable, since I can't think of a way they could make her play differently than Marth. If that makes sense.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.To answer Enlong's Question: Both
In Awakening you have to customize the stats(choose one to rock at and another to suck at) but can default everything else, if I remember correctly.
As for Sigurd, it comes from one of the tabs (It Just Bugs Me! head scratchers) of our own Smash Bros article. If that is wrong, I will just find it and change it (but it made sense to me since he does have those "skills" that look like dancing blade)
That blunderbuss is amazing, though.
Also "leave thy presence" is a pretty philosophical order. Can one truly leave thy own presence? Are you not always in thy presence, no matter how alone you may be?
I have a message from another time...Yeah...
Yes it is amazing, but it's not the only reason he should be in.

Wrong.

Hector's a whole lot louder and brasher, for one thing.
