@two pages ago: That comment was less "The Complainer Is Always Wrong" and more "The Complainer Is Really Goddamn Annoying" and they always complain about the same things over the course of a week. And it's not just one person that does it, either.
Anyway, speaking of Tetris, I'd love to see a Tetris stage. Fighting on the tetriminos, of course.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.I doubt he's doing it purely for the $$$ ¥¥¥, but I have no doubt that some of the higher ups at Nintendo would have at least some thoughts toward that way. And Sakurai isn't stupid—he's bound to have some marketing sense, having been in the business for over two decades now. Marketing is essentially knowing how to appeal to a customer in a way that nets you the most sales, and keeping people happy and giving them a quality product is part of that.
More or less that.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I suppose it depends on how much Sakurai likes them. He was spotted on occasion floating around the Platinum offices and may have taken a shine to the Wonderfuls. If I were a Nintendo executive, though, I would lean on him to opt for Bayonetta herself, to get some of that Smash-popularity blowback to support the bigger game in the same year as B2 will come out, rather than a nod to the game that came and went (and tanked in sales) without shaking too much up.

The problem is that Bayonetta, despite the fact that her next game is being published by Nintendo, is owned by Sega, and therefore third-party. The Wonderful Ones are owned by Nintendo. Considering Sakurai, the latter would probably be more important than sales.
I mean, come on. Earthbound.

Not really. She's a fairly minor third party character, at the very least, and it's even harder to picture how she'd fight than Villager.
I wouldn't be strongly for or against Wonder Red, honestly, but then I've been bad about keeping up with more recent gaming news lately.

I sure said that!
We Are With You Zack Snyder
Maybe they can have both; I don't know about both playable but one could be an assist trophy.
I'm thinking Wonder Red could work as an assist trophy since it could possibly have the others in it.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI acknowledge some things (especially stages) are basically promotions, but Rosalina doesn't feel that way to me.
I mean, she herself has been being pushed a lot by Nintendo, but I'm attributing her inclusion and promotion to popularity over recency. Not that she's going to be leaving the Mario series any time soon...

I'd actually like to point out that this is incorrect. Tetris sold Game Boys. Pokemon sold extremely well (it's actually something like the second or third highest-selling franchise of all time), but it came out way late in the Game Boy's life cycle. Most people already had one.
