Insert witty 'n clever quip here. What about all the games that appeared on the Game Cube? And I'm pretty sure one or two of the games had a Wii port.

Never unless you count Snake's Revenge but that isn't canon.
Metal Gear was a port from MSX, Twin Snake's was a remake of Metal Gear Solid, and Metal Gear Solid 3D is a remake of Snake Eater.
I didn't mention the Gameboy Color game titled Metal Gear Solid (It was originally Ghost Babel.)

I toyed with the idea of another Adventure Mode wherein, say, Marth lead a small platoon in FE overworld movements but with Smash fights instead of the regular battle animations, or Snake needing to sneak through a level, or a short shoot 'em up segment with one of the Star Fox characters.
I was bored so I decided to finish a partial moveset I made for Jeff a while back. So, uh, here you go.
Standard Attacks
- Neutral A: Laser Gun – Jeff fires a mid-ranged shot from laser; slight knockback; can be used many times in succession
- Side A: Spectrum Beam – Jeff fires a ray of light in front of him that knocks enemies upward, dissipating after a moment.
- Up A: Magnum Air Gun – Jeff fires a wind blast diagonally upward; slight knockback, low damage
- Down A: Ruler – Jeff swipes low to the ground with a ruler. Now he can measure things easily.
- Dashing A: Stun Gun – Jeff pulls out a paralyzing gun and fires a short-range burst of electricity that hits multiple times.
Smash Attacks
- Side Smash: Hyper Beam – Jeff fires a giant laser blast straight forward that dissipates after traveling a short distance.
- Up Smash: Bottle Rocket – Jeff places a rocket on the ground that then launches upward. Low knockback for a smash attack, but very powerful.
- Down Smash: Bomb – Jeff sets a bomb on the ground that immediately explodes.
Aerial Attacks
- Air Neutral A: Zip Gun – Jeff fires a quick, short-ranged laser blast with high knockback.
- Air Forward A: Death Ray – Jeff unleashes a cone of energy from his gun that knocks enemies downward, unleashing a meteor smash if hit at the beginning of the attack.
- Air Back A: Pop Gun – Jeff turns his body around, firing a tethered cork from his gun, which deals low damage and medium knockback
- Air Up A: Baddest Beam – Jeff fires a very fast beam of energy straight upward, dealing medium damage and knockback
- Air Down A: Double Beam – Jeff fires diagonally downward twice, dealing minimal knockback but high damage. There is a split second between the first and second shots allowing one to dodge after being hit by the first one.
Grab Attacks
- Pummel: Protractor – Jeff examines the enemy with his trusty protractor, dealing damage.
- Forward Throw: Bionic Slingshot – Jeff takes out a slingshot and fires at the enemy with a metal ball, sending them flying.
- Back Throw: Reverse Slingshot – Jeff whirls the enemy around and fires at them with the slingshot.
- Up Throw: Gaia Beam – Jeff fires at the enemy’s feet, knocking them into the air, then fires up at them with a huge burst of energy. His most powerful throw.
- Down Throw: Crusher Beam – Jeff drops the enemy onto the ground, then fires at them with a point-blank burst of energy.
Special Attacks
- Neutral B: Slime Generator – Jeff pulls out a machine that fires a pile of slime ahead a short distance. If it connects, it will trap an enemy in a manner similar to a pitfall. If it misses, it will remain on the stage as a trap for a few seconds, or until the Slime Generator is used again.
- Side B: Heavy Bazooka – Jeff pulls out an enormous bazooka and fires a long-range missile straight forward. It moves slowly at first but picks up speed as it travels. Deals heavy damage and knockback.
- Up B: Moon Beam Gun – Jeff fires a large blast of energy straight down that sends him rocketing upward. The energy blast can be aimed slightly.
- Down B: Neutralizer – Jeff pulls out a remote device and fiddles with it, causing several effects: it cancels the saved charges (for moves such as Charge Shot and Needle Storm) of any opponents near him, as well as removes any equipped items (such as the Franklin Badge or Screw Attack) they might have equipped. It also functions as a counterattack, although it deals no damage and low knockback.
- Final Smash: Multi-Bottle Rockets – Jeff sets up a number of bottle rockets and unleashes nine of them flying in different directions. Each one homes in on the opponent nearest to it, dealing heavy knockback and damage.

Welcome to th:|So, was anyone else aware that this was a thing?
It appears to be a minor equivalent to Brawl's Dojo; it shows stages, items, characters, and confirms a few special moves too. Turns out Villager's tree thing is his down special.
EDIT: WAIT! Turns out that page is not affiliated with Nintendo. My bad!

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."

Even if he asks, Sakurai may not add him.
