We Are With You Zack Snyder
I agree also Nintendo has a lot of developers that are great at making RP Gs that could make it maybe it could feature characters from every single IP they own and IMO their universes should be colliding (It doesn't have to make sense) But that could be a good way of explaining why they are there.
Hmm...
This gives me an idea. A crossover game where each character retains their series' gameplay in the other worlds. So, kind of in the vein of Sonic Generations.
But that's probably an idea for another thread.

I feel like that would take too much effort to program given how many different mechanics they'd have to add. It's also guaranteed to anger everyone since I doubt you could be good at every single kind of genre Nintendo produces.
Yeah, the Wonderful Ones were going to be Nintendo characters. Honestly I prefer it as its own IP though. If they ever do a non-Smash crossover I'd rather an RPG.

Not quite an RPG, but présente: Captain Rainbow
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.If it's an RPG, it would be a Turn-based Strategy RPG, like Super Robot Wars. Ever play Super Robot Wars?

"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"I have not, and I don't plan on doing so.
(The only RPGs I've ever played or ever considered playing are Pokemon, the Mario And Luigi games, and the Mother seriesnote . I'm not much of an RPG person, especially considering how many either involve swords and sorcery/high fantasy stuff or feudal Fire Emblem-type stuff. Even then, I feel like an RPG is a game you need to devote a lot of time to, and I don't feel like I have that kind of time.)

If it weren't for the time concerns, I would recommend the recent Fallout games to you. But I'm getting off-topic.
If a Smash RPG were to be made, I'd recommend that (in terms of playable characters), they make it work like the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games (no singular main character, you start off with quite a few at the beginning and can unlock more later, you can pick and choose which ones to place in your party, and certain NPC interactions can only be experienced by having specific characters in your party at that point in time).

"Cynic, n. — A blackguard whose faulty vision sees things as they are, not as they ought to be." - The Devil's DictionaryI've played a bit of Fallout 3 and thought it was okay, but not necessarily something I'd want to devote all my time to. And I've seen bits and pieces of New Vegas. I'm sure they're good games, and I know a lot about them if only through the spoileriffic grapevine, but eh.
Personally, I'm more of a platformer person than anything, and even then, mostly the core three of Kirby, Sonic, and Mario, and even then, with a preference for the 2-D platformers.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here. The Platformer is my all time favourite genre. It was the first game genre I ever played and it remains to me one of the best genres in gaming. Love it in both 2D and 3D form.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here. The Daily's Miiverse caption does heavily imply a big reveal.
I'm probably annoying more people with this, but I hope it's Lip.

I wouldn't mind if Nintendo made an RPG game like Smash Brothers in that it included all the different characters and let us visit their worlds. I don't think it should be a Smash game though.
