Yes, but not like in Brawl. It's a wavy streamy pillar of flame in the games. Which is what I'm saying it should become.
It has been in the Anime. Which we know Sakurai looks at. No surprise he went with that depiction.
I'd prefer Bowser's changed since an actual Fireball sounds great for him. Not sure how it'd change if Giga Bowser is still his Final Smash. Maybe he can only fire 3 at a time before needing to recharge? And Giga either has infinite(till he reverts to normal) or can fire more, like 6 or something.
Shadow?I think in the first two generations the animation showed the Pokemon shooting off a single flame and then it sort of exploding on the enemy, but in every other one I believe it's been a solid stream of fire.

Bowser breathed streams of Fire in Super Mario 64.
And why does Bowser need his changed? He had it first.
Look at it in Firered/Leafgreen.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI know Bowser had Fire Breath first, but I'd give him a long-range fireball that hovers along the ground ala Super Mario Bros..
Also, French Bulldog? ;_; Having grown up with Chihuahua and Friends, this saddens me.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI'm okay with two characters having a similar move between them.
I mean, nobody's calling for Dedede to get a new neutral B move, or for Mega Man and Sonic to fight over their spring move.
Heck, we've shown that you can have radically different characters that happen to share similar B moves, like Fox and Wolf.

Whatever.

Um, If Pokemon Trainer returns, out of his three pokemon Charizard is the one who's least likely to be cut.
I'm not.
Because A) Dedede having Inhale is faithful to the games, and B) Kirby's copying ability from his inhale is a massive difference.
And to be honest, I don't like how they both have similar spring moves. Although they do at least have some differences, whearas Charizard's Flamethower is blatantly a clone of Bowser's Fire Breath.
And I still want Wolf to get a new moveset. He needs an arsenal from Star Fox Assault. It especially makes sense because he's a mercenary.

According to The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, Star Wolf behave more like actual mercenaries than Star Fox actually does.
On my stand, I don't mind if a character has a similar move to another character (if it isn't a clone thing). Like, if I were to play fighting games, I wouldn't complain every time I see something similar to a Shoryuken.
Only sometimes postsHm... that page is wrong. The Aparoid business did see the Star Fox team receive a monetary award. It's in the credits, at the section for the Aparoid Home World.
The only real difference is that Star Wolf has fewer standards as to who they'll take a contract from. Working for Andross didn't earn them any favors with the Cornerian fleet once that conflict ended.

I don't mind if it's not a clone move either.
Except if it's some really piddly difference like Falco's blaster dealing knockback or him kicking out his reflector. Really not even helping his favour.
As mercanaries tend to do.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI'm not sure how else o put it. Star Fox fight stuff for money, so does Star Wolf. They're both mercenaries. The only differences being who they actually end up selling their services to, as well as personal grudges held by their respective leaders.
Heck, Star Wolf is the team who worked on the Aparoid thing for free.

I have a message from another time...
Well Star Fox is shadier so it makes sense if they use more guns.
It also helps that Assault was the first game Wolf was playable in.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMOnly Falco used more Guns, via the SSE, where he shot with 2. I'm sure he has one for gameplay reasons. If he could shoot 2, he'd be wayyyy too powerful. Then he'd essentially have the same firing rate as Fox, who has the distinction of lack of knockback.(that's also his key difference, his knockback output for many of his moves are far weaker than Falco's. He's also faster and has a better recovery)
Shadow? What happens in Subspace (or Smash for that matter) has no canon bearing on a character unless the owner's of that character implement or ascend it (ie. FALCON PAAWWNCCCHHH).
Actually, what the heck does this have to do with me simply saying Wolf makes the most sense of all the playable Star Fox characters to be gun-orientated?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMWasn't my point. -_-
If anybody should have more guns, I think it should be Falco. Wolf's is beyond distinct enough that the only thing it has in common is the name alone. Everything about it is unique.
Falco has a better reason. And Giga Bowser was Adventure Mode only. Look what happened to him. So... that's not as true as you think it is.
I do not think Wolf fits the more gun part. I think Falco fits it far better since he's done it in Smash before. That's what it has to do with it.
