Don't worry; I'm a completionest. I'm used to receiving underwhelming rewards for 100% Completion.
Duke Nukem Forever was a game that was cancelled and only brought back due to it's notorious reputation. The game's work was scrapped numerous times and when Gearbox got it, they pretty much scrapped everything when they had it and worked on their version for like a year. And both Duke Nukem Forever and Aliens: Colonial Marines were made by Gearbox Software. What makes you think all devs work like they do? Nintendo doesn't let their games bounce from studio to studio when they hold it back. Nintendo didn't take big breaks when they delayed Brawl; they used that extra time to keep developing. This is not a good comparison in any way.
Nintendo's delayed games usually don't turn out to be miserable failures when they release. Brawl? Success. Kirby's Return to Dreamland? Well, I haven't played it, but since everybody keeps saying Malagor should be a boss and have discussions about what stage it should get, I'm guessing it was a success as well. And Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze got delayed and it looks awesome. This game won't be hurt by being pushed back till Q4.
“A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever.”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMOnly thing I went for completion was doing each Event Match in Melee with every character possible. It took forever to do Event 51 with everyone, but I did it! I lost the sheet, I think, but still.
I honestly just love doing that kind of stuff. Albeit, it fully depends how much you enjoy going through that particular challenge. I found Event Mode fun in Melee and Brawl. I found Classic/Single Player fun in 64 and Melee, but much less in Brawl. I still want it finished, but my Nephew has been quite helpful with it. I don't mind beating games together, especially if I don't enjoy every part. We worked on Sonic 2006 together, and it was really really fun(especially the Multiplayer, except when Silver gets stuck on a series of Springs. -_-) Basically, you hit one Spring, then go to another... somehow he gets stuck. Otherwise, it was fun. The other glitches were great. XD
Shadow?Eh, basically, whenever you're making any creative work to be sold, you want to aim for a gestation period that's slightly longer than E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial for the Atari 2600 and slightly shorter than Chinese Democracy.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.![]()
To be honest, I felt Brawl's Event Matches were "just there", you know. I found them nowhere as interesting as Melee's.
Is there a notice for that?

Having difficulty levels wasn't a bad thing, though. I did like the last of each one. And the ability to co-op was cool.
There is no notice for that. I think it does record your time of completion with your character, similar to how it shows your time or score in things like Home Run Content or the Target Tests.

Shadow?
Does Brawl do the same thing for recording the difficulties you've done each event on? Like what it does for each individual characters in Classic?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI'd love it, but I think they may go for others.
@MM: I'd suggest concentrating on Stickers, Trophies, and other Window-based stuff. The little recorded things are, imo, the least important. But I do like that a game can have so much to complete, even if it's not very important in general.(of course, to some it is, understandably)
Shadow?Sorry about that. I'm just used to seeing so many people request something simply because it was in the most recent game or released recently (Ghirahim, Chrom, Lucina, Bayonetta, Wonder Red etc) that I just tend to associate it with that. Sorry.
Beating Boss Battles on Intense, man. I beat it on Very Hard with Peach (Peach Bomber spam!), and got up to Tabuu on Intense with her.
Ultimately, I beat Intense with a character I didn't really use much in Brawl. It was Boshi Blue palette Yoshi. His Down Air is really handy. Unfortunately, my attempts at beating Boss Battles seems to have made the C-Stick on my Platinum Gamecube controller a little damaged.
To be honest, I got more joy out of finally beating 15 Minute Brawl with Ike. I once died with 7 seconds left. My brother kept telling me to ditch Ike, but I knew I could beat it with Ike. And I did. Second last tile broken.
I've only got one tile left.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI've got nineteen random stickers to go. It's the most tedious thing ever. I once spent 30 minutes on my sticker farm custom stage one time and got no new ones. I once played through the great maze and got heaps of stickers and none of them were new. It's so painful.
I swear, if Stickers return in Smash 4, they better make the odds of getting new ones higher.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI know how you feel. Sonic Battle is just the same thing. Getting one new cards is tedious. And there's only twice you get extremely specific cards. Rest are pure random. Albeit, you can put in a code for 9 other specific ones, but that's it. I have a theory that there is a code for every card that you can input, but there's no way it could be tested. Since the actual codes use everything from capital letters to numbers(and lowercase letters too). A hacker could do it.
And yeah, they're annoying at times. Getting every Trophy, especially SSE, is more difficult, IMO.
Shadow?Man, the time I've spent on Subspace is like about 50 hours or something. I remember having to check Smashwiki to see what enemies I've missed and stuff. The last ones I had to get were the Meta Ridley Trophy and a few enemies like Trowlons. I had to kill myself so many times at the last part so I wouldn't have to replay the whole level to fight Meta Ridley again.
Is there a notice for clearing Subspace on each difficulty? I got one for beating them all on Intense. Don't remember if they was some for other difficulties.

Thank goodness. There's no way I could sit through that without continues.
I was surprised that when I got my last trophy that it was a Piranha Plant trophy. I assumed it would have been a Hanenbow trophy (turns out there isn't one) or some other minor Nintendo thing .
Really surprised that it was something as big as a Mario Series trophy.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMYou know, Mr. Magcargo, you actually did have a point on Wonder-Red. I never thought about it like that until you brought it up, but even if it is a new IP there's still a ton of others that are actual series as opposed to single games.
A Wonderful Ones Assist Trophy would be neat, though.

Well it's good that you have some good reasons.
But there are indeed others who do suggest him for recency. Also, being the latest game may have contributed to some of it's popularity.
Regardless of whether he's recent or not, I feel we don't need anymore Blue-Haired Sword Lords. Fire Emblem needs some diversity on it's roster.

We saw a lot of a remake of Smashville, mind you.
But no stage for the 3DS itself. I think Smashville has elements from City Folk.
