Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!...I didn't say that?
We still have Master Hand at the end of Classic Mode as normal, probably(and Crazy Hand, I'm sure). But unless we get a new Adventure Mode akin to Melee's, which isn't much of a Story itself, I don't know if we will get many bosses.
If we barely get any, I wouldn't see why we'd get a mode. At least, one like Brawl's. I wouldn't mind a bonus mode where the first player controls a boss, though.

Shadow?I still think it's stupid that they're holding off Yoshi's reveal, promotion or not.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMThey're adding a character from FIND MII as an Adventure Mode boss? They might as well just say it's completely original. Plus the name itself is half an insult to Hardin, who could manage as a pretty good boss IMO. Or maybe I'm just crazy.

Yes, I am the guy who refused to call Magikarp Power "not worth the effort"See, it's obscurity like that which makes it even more tragic.
Posted a pothole for your convenience.

Yes, I am the guy who refused to call Magikarp Power "not worth the effort"Sakurai said there'd be no cutscenes in Adventure Mode, so there has to be an Adventure Mode.
If they modeled a cage, he's probably not an Assist, though.
Yes, I am the guy who refused to call Magikarp Power "not worth the effort"I thought he said "no cutscenes", period(he did mention they'll be online and might do a few for some characters overall, but that was it). I still expect an Adventure Mode, of course. At least in the 3DS version, since he spoke of customization via going through a mode to get stronger. I don't think it fits Classic all that well, especially since our only form of customization outside of costumes were the Stickers so far.
But eh.

Shadow? The cage looks like they ripped it straight out of Streetpass Quest. I think they just imported that model.
Since when did Sakurai say anything about the customisation of characters being based on a mode where you get stronger. Last time I checked he hasn't elaborated on customisation since the last time he mentioned it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMThat's, um, not what he said.
He said that, since cutscenes end up online for people to see, then they aren't really a reward for playing through the single player. As such, the cutscenes that they do add will be more standalone affairs that will be unlocked right from the start, while they look into other incentives to play through the single player mode.
Nothing about the new cutscenes themselves being online, or having no scenes.
I have a message from another time...
Another thing that has me worried for this game.
Seriously, it was probably Sakurai's dumbest move. Now we'll probably get some half-baked Adventure Mode like Melee's; a glorified Classic mode with a handful of platforming levels.
And even if we do still get one like Brawl's, many awesome cutscene opportunities are now gone.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMDark Emperor could actually be a boss or a stage hazard, but considering what the nature of his "attack", he could as well be just background. I mean, he doesn't even attack, he just roar and the Mii run away. How would that work as an attack? It would make the characters run away from the stage and insta-KO?
Filling the stage with Level-Down Gas or whatever it is called however, would be a nice and interesting trick to make the fights last longer.
I actually liked Melee's Adventure Mode and would love for something like that to return. The Subspace Emissary seems a bit too..."original flavor" for my taste.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.

A boss that interrupts the multiplayer matches, like the TF 2 Halloween bosses or the Raging Long Legs in Pikmin 2's Vs. Mode?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
