My friends are always stupid enough to fall in my homerun bat trap.

Then again they also fall in my Bowser's grab and jump off the stage trap, which is why I'm banned from using Bowser (or Dedede).

I showed my girlfriend the beauty of Project M two weeks ago. I don't think she ha a favorite character for that mod (in regular Brawl, it's Jigglypuff). Though, she did use Pikachu a lot. Personally, it's hard to choose between Ganondorf (better than Brawl), Mario (just what the doctor ordered, especially his F-air), Marth (mostly the same), and Wario (still disappointed he lost his bike).

Do you think a stage from Mario 3D World is possible? I'd love to see Bowser Land be used.

Wait, you can influence the direction of Bowser's slam if you're the victim of it? I never knew that.

In Brawl, it's trivial to juggle someone to the blast zones with repeated fire from the Ray Gun. In my experience, anyway.
I dunno, I always thought that was a lot easier to pull off in Melee, if only because the timing and stun time lined up pretty much perfectly for that.

Regarding the fan...for the longest time, I never actually realized how much power that thing could yield. It's probably the definitive Lethal Joke Weapon [lol]

As for the Home-Run Bat, as satisfying as a working smash with that can be, I can rarely pull that off successfully, so I tend to just throw it around at people as well. That thing's still got amazing power as a projectile.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

Out of characters that were unlockable in the past, who would you want to move up to being a starter?

I agree on Marth. I would also say Captain Falcon and Ness, but they have a bit of a first game clause in my eues.

But it really feels special when your favorite character shows up as a challenger.

[up] Yes, though in my eyes, only the secret ones from the first game have to stay unlockables.

If Lucas returns- And I have no reason to think he won't- Then Ness can stay secret. Captain Falcon, though, is most likely going to remain the only F-Zero character, and since F-Zero is neither a third-party franchise nor a Mr. Game & Watch/R.O.B.-style curveball, I don't think he should be hidden.

I sure said that!

Sakurai said that a Smash Bros. game is defined by the characters on its roster. Without the inclusion of Mario, Kirby, Samus or Link, some would say, "it might not be Smash Bros." What defines the core of Smash Bros., he says, varies from player to player.

"Whether it's a minor character or a character that is one of the most highly skilled and most played," Sakurai said, "if that character is removed from the game, the people who live for that character in Smash Bros. are going to have their feelings hurt.

"I think we have to really consider that, so I take a very serious, hard look at that and have empathy for the players who look for these type of characters when we're making these decisions."

Pic of the Day.

Miiverse post.

Pic of the day. Sonic, failure.
So, I think we've learned that you can still spam Homing Attack by crouching, Bowser can block attacks from above.

Hey, the way he's crouching... that looks familiar, doesn't it?

Nah, I think that's Bowser's usmash and he's beating Sonic's homing attack through priority.

Or perhaps he's crouching, and the joke is that Sonic is jumping onto spikes.

Kind of mean-spirited. Mario, Megaman, and Sonic are all vulnerable to spike traps. Funny nonetheless.
