IDK, Ness is cute, but somehow Lucas just looks unnatural with that hair. And a new villain would be a lot more interesting than a clone.
Oooh. What if Porky was an Assist Trophy who leapt out, tripped when he hit the floor, then cowered on an edge of the stage? He can't affect the players or even be targetted by them. He'd be the Goldeen of Trophies.
Wait, do we have a useless Trophy already? And don't say Starfy.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"I'm gonna say Starfy anyway.
Mr. Resetti is kinda useless, though, but in a good way.
None of them are literally useless, though, since at least Mr. Resetti blocks attacks and can deal damage when he explodes with rage.
If we got another Assist Trophy from Mother, I'd rather it be Fassad, attacking players with either bombs or PSI and when he's done, he eats a banana and leaves the peel behind where he despawns.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! So Wolf is overall better than Fox?
I wonder how Lucario would change, if at all, for For.
If it were me, I'd make his Extremespeed look faster and maybe do damage. And probably fold his mega evolution into his Final Smash. And rename it Flash Cannon.
I figure Final Smashes are probably the best way to use Mega Evolutios in any case, though. Like, with Mewtwo, he could go into his X form and beat up on a target before going to his Y form and using Psystrike. Sort of like Great Aether, but with a wide-ranged finisher.
I have a message from another time...While neither of the Mega Mewtwos are any more important than one another, Mega Mewtwo Y seems to be the one they did all of their advertising with...
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaIf you don't mind me getting back to the Project M bit, I certainly won't say there isn't condescension on the part of the fans and developers. But to say that it's "stripping the fun out of the game" is kinda being condescending in the opposite way. I play Smash competitively because I enjoy the different experience it offers from other fighting games due to how free-form it is and the variety (mostly) of the viable roster. That doesn't mean I won't play the game with all items on playing on Flat Zone or something, though, and I'm sure many other competitive players will say no different. It's just a different kind of fun when you're dead focused on beating the other guy than just fooling around. Project M is more focused on the former, that's it.
Melee lacked this problem, even Smash 64 did.
But how? You know only four of Smash 64's stages are allowed in Tournament Play, right?
I seriously don't get the Delphino Plaza hate. It's a great stage. I don't see what exactly the problem of the platforms dropping you off at different points of the plaza is. I't seem a bit boring to only focus on one part of the plaza.
And Pirate Ship is one the best stages, in my opinion.
Does anyone think there's a chance of a minor gravity gimmick on the Lost World stage? I'd make sense.
Because the PM team were condescending first, so they deserve it.
I love how the Colonel's all deadpan serious about everything he says, no matter how weird it gets. Except for Luigi's codec.
Nope.avi
But the Chomp is the best! Whenever I play as Wario, I make it my mission to eat anything and everything in sight. It's also the move I troll my friend with.

Stop defending Project M's devs. It's fine if you like the mod, but that doesn't change that the devs have a hint of smugness around some of the things they've said.
Lucario being compared to Bibarel!? Unacceptable!!
@Mega Evolutions in Final Smashes.
I'd rather not have the MegaMewtwos or MegaLucario as Final Smashes. Lucario's moveset feels complete as is, and his FS is fine. As cool as MegaLucario is, I feel adding him would be tacked on, especially that one suggestion to make his Final Smash be the same as before but him being Mega while performing it. There's no need to, and it'd be superficial. And Mewtwo should just have Psystrike.
What I think they should do is make MegaLucario Lucario's alternate costume if they're gonna do alternate costumes this time around. They have similar proportions, so it's work fine. Plus it means when get a true alt for him instead of those suggestions to make the Pokemon characters alt's their Shiny colours.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI wasn't actually talking about the official Stage List for competition. I was talking about ones I think are good for tourneys. I never actually played in a single SSB 64 tourney. I've barely been in Melee ones. I acknowledge the competitive scene, of course.
And no, that's not an excuse. They deserve respect as do we. They don't deserve to be treated like crap just like we don't either. If anything, that's all the more reason not to act like that. Taking the higher ground is really the only answer to it.
Shadow?

I love Wario's Chomp attack. True, it isn't really based in his games aside from his gluttonous eating, but eating enemies and items is just too much fun for me to care.
It's hilarious that he can eat stuff faster than Kirby or Dedede.
Maybe they could change his Down-Smash to resemble the Earthquake Punch, or make his Forward-Smash more recognizably his shoulder charge.
