The Chew Toy of Gaming
Their shadows are weird. Are they normally like that in the screenshots?
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.![]()
People are good at feigning leaks. Case in point: the fake Ness page from a while back.
Those were apparently Facebook screenshots, not reveals.
I'm still calling fake, but that's due to the fact it's two veterans(as well as bad photoshopping) in a single picture. If one of them were already revealed...
...Also, that's just too obvious of a leak. The last time we know of Lucario and Jigglypuff was an honest mistake. When Stickers got shown off, it showed who they worked for, which were two of them. That's subtle enough to miss. This? I have no doubt the characters are coming back, but yeah.

Eh, that was a good picture, but you could tell it was fake because if looked at it good you could see it was 2D.
And the one with Jiggs and Ness is a pretty good fake, but you can tell from Ness' odd placement and Jigglypuff's odd hair swirl looking a bit off.
I glad it's fake though, because I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY don't want Jigglypuff to return.
While it is true that Yoshi didn't branch off from Mario as much as DK or Wario did, but in Smash he's repping the Yoshi games, which are a series in their own right. Unless they change that Yoshi Egg symbol into a Mushroom, Yoshi isn't repping the Mario franchise in Smash anytime soon.

I'd like to answer that question, but someone will cause another debate over it. If you'd really like to know, I'll PM you the answer.
That'd be neat. Along with Lucario, Mewtwo, Jigglypuff, Pikachu, and if we're very lucky(or Sakurai fixes the Multiple Models issue, which he presumably did thanks to Olimar coming back) overall. A very diverse cast of Pokemon overall, IMO.
I'd be a bit disappointed in the lack of any Gen V or VI cast, but I can live with it. As long as they're still shown through Pokeballs...

If any Gen III mon should be playable, it's Blazi...
No, that would start an argument too...
EDIT: Oh screw it, I'll say why I don't want Jiggs to return.
She isn't relevant anymore. Now not being relevant by itself isn't necessarily a bad thing (Ice Climbers, Mr. Game & Watch), but being irrelevant in a series where there are plenty of other more relevant options is.
It was okay in 64 and Melee, because Jigglypuff was relevant at time. But in Brawl she wasn't, and that isn't very fair to potential Pokemon that were more relevant at the time.
Same reason I'm against Ghirahim being in, because he's a one-shot villain, and there are more relevant Zelda characters to choose from, especially in a few more years when Skyward Sword is not one of the most recent Zelda games anymore.
They haven't even revealed the full roster yet. How do you know neither would not get repped.
Granted, there aren't really any Gen VI Pokemon I can think of that would/should be playable (I'm not counting Mega Evolutions in this because I tie them to the Gen of the Pokemon they evolve from).

Not to mention Blaziken being the only non-Kanto starter to get a Mega Evolution.
Is it not changing the image for you?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!D'you think this stage will still have side-K Os? Could there be instant-kill black holes just out of view? These are separate questions.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"

Plus, why would they reveal two characters at once? And then not even bother to put it on the website, or reveal it in a video?
