I think it's a series of combos. It looks like it take far longer than Warlock Punch if it was a single move.
Also, I had forgotten all about the Villager's net. I mean, I remember it in the trailer, but I forgotten that we hadn't been shown it before. Well, I knew we hadn't been shown it before, but you know what I mean.

Well, we've seen him do the tree cutting part at least...
You know, as awesome as the concept of portable Smash Bros is, I think we should have waited one more handheld generation. The 3DS isn't up to the Wii U's speed, so to speak.
I too would rather drop the 3DS version in favour of keeping the Ice Climbers. It's not worth only having on of them by them self. In fact, all the stuff the 3DS version is doing in regards to the console version is making me angry. First it was the exclusive stages (but that's a rant for another day), and then Sakurai went all out and said loud and clearly that the roster is limited by what the 3DS can handle.
It makes me worried for Smash Bros 4. I've loved each Smash Bros game more than the last, but I cringe at the fact that the first HD Smash Bros is being held back by the 3DS version. I don't want the Wii U version to be gimped. I don't want to miss out on that awesome Super Mario 3 D Land on the big screen. I want the complete package I got with last Smash Bros. And the one before that. It's bad enough we miss out on a new Subspace-esque story mode; we don't need to lose anything else major.
I want Smash 4 to be the best Smash Bros yet. And it should be; it looks great, it has some really original ideas for newcomers and stages, and there's even more to come. It's just a shame that the 3DS version is holding it back. To be honest, if things like rosters are being held back by the 3DS, I can wait one more generation for portable Smash.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMConsidering we have other ranged Grabs that aren't literal throws, yeah, it's pretty ambiguous. Not like he could compare it to Yoshi's Neutral B... when Yoshi hasn't shown up.
Sorry, but it's not blatant in any possible way. It can apply to any ranged grab, which has been Special Move or Throw since the first game. It's just a grab that has range. That's the only thing I can see that is very specific at all.
Considering the animations, I can see it as Side B or Throw Button. Either makes perfect sense, especially if it could be done in the air like in the movie.
And yeah, we could've lost characters going into the Wii U version just like we lost 2(as in they are entirely gone) while going into Brawl. So the 3DS version isn't really that relevant in that regard. Really doesn't bother me that much at this point. I'd rather just have the option for two games, especially when I may not even be able to get a Wii U at this point(nor is there a single game besides Smash I want for it yet). I can't afford much, and I already got a 3DS. It's going to have the same final roster(and possibly no connection required to finish the roster), so I could care less about the Wii U version as well by that point. Handheld is great for me. I love it as is.
But having both as an option is the best since it allows everybody to heavily enjoy it without being forced to invest in one system or the other. They can choose whichever they prefer based upon the games they want, and that's really awesome.
Shadow?We barely know where most of those go, so not really, Pulse. We've had projectiles for non-B moves with Mega Man as well. Movesets are far less obvious now. So who knows. It could even be a freakin' A move...(and I don't mean Shield + A)
@Folt: Damn straight.
Shadow?This Bug-Catching Net grab is really neat, but it probably would look really weird when grabbing a huge character like Ridley Bowser.
Also, does the Miiverse confirms that Clawshot and Grapple Beam are back? I hope at least Clawshot is replaced.
EDIT: Clawshot was confirmed on Sonic's video and the Grapple Beam in Sakurai's Direct.

It says it's similar to Link's and Samus' Clawshot and Grappling Beam.
Apparently they are back. Although Link still sports his base TP design and Samus never had another throw at all. Link's only switch was the type of item, but they were identical in practice.
He's implying they're back, at best.
Brawl still dropped stuff from Melee regardless(Courses, Items, Characters, NPC's). And Melee dropped stuff from 64(Courses, Items, NPC's). Expecting this not to happen is silly. We'll have something gone from the earlier game no matter what. We're just hoping it isn't characters.
Shadow?It's possible. Judging by the screenshots we've been getting, it looks like they might've made enough progress with models, animations, stages and items to be able produce some snippets for us.

Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!I think we might have one.
I'm hoping for Zelda/Sheik myself.(or Shiek, since apparently one country does spell it that way. I didn't know Germany spelled it like that. Kind of makes it funny when your "typo" isn't one in reality.)
Since this is 3DS related, I could see Kirby too. Yarn Yoshi was a Wii U game, so not him... hmm...
Shadow?It's too bad his supposed Up B is already revealed. What's odd is that he has his Gyroid Rocket, which sounds like an Up B, his Balloon Fight Shout-Out, which is more blatantly one as well. One guess I have is, if the Net isn't actually a Grab and Throw, is this;
- B: Bug-Catching Net
- Down B: Projectile Grab
- Up B: Balloon Fight
- Side B: Gyroid
I have no idea what could make another good Neutral B move, as his Slingshot appeared to be a Air Back A move. Maybe the Shovel? Shovel could be Down B while Projectile Grab is Neutral B as well. Obviously, these are nicknames to a degree.
Shadow?I came up with an idea for a Sonic alternate costume earlier: Virtual Hedgehog.
Thoughts? My list is almost complete, and then I'll share it with y'all.

RE:Dropping the 3DS version: Eh, I'd rather that not happen. I've been waiting for a handheld Smash for a long time, but thought it'd never happen. If I had to pick between losing a character (who's one of my mains) for the handheld version or losing the handheld version to retain a character, I'd rather lose the character. It's not like losing characters is unusual for the series so far.

I do wonder if trees are one long move(like how Warlock Punch is) or a series of move combos. But that could be really neat for strategies if it works that way.
Shadow?
