Oo! Ooh! The second word is "are"!
Anyways, any ideas for Ice Climbers alts? That keep them the same characters, that is. I was thinking typical Hawaii tourist outfits, with a palm tree vest and shorts and sandals and whatnot.
I like that one. Still them, and yet still something from Nintendo!

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaAnd I am sick of Clone Defending/Apologism.
Dr Mario did not "deserve" to be in. End of story.
Neither did Roy, only being put in to advertise the newest game. He's no more important than any other one-shot lord. Sakurai's original idea of Leif would have been better, considering how Lief was playable in more than one game at the time.

Hawiaan Ice Climbers. Pfft.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMFor items, I think Ultra-Bitter Spray should something you pick up and throw at an opponent, and it would immobilize them by turning them to stone...but makes the stoned character invincible, since they're a stone statue now.
There could also be the Mega Mushroom to be a double-dose of a Super Mushroom, or a Repel from Pokemon to have nearby characters be slightly pushed away like Ness' PSI Magnet, or bring back the Cannon Barrel from Melee.
I would also love an item that would give you an extra double jump, but I don't know what all would do that for an item. Would anyone know?
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!
Yeah, but the Parasol took away what made Peach's Up Special unique, so I guess it was a good thing it was removed.
Which is sorta why I'm annoyed about Brawl's banana item also being one of Diddy's moves.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMAhh, Tournaments. Where summoning a Banana is A.O.K but the game summoning one is considered unfair.
If anything, the on-command one is more unfair, because it means one person has access to an item that would normally be available for all players.
I know Diddy's Down Special is useful, but that doesn't mean it isn't the least interesting special move in the game. If he keeps it, I won't complain, but I do hope he swaps it for something not chronically dull.
I'd like to see you say that when a Bob-Omb spawns in front of you right as you use a Smash attack.

I sure said that!I thought the problem with the cloak was that only the computer could use it effectively.
Items have the poential to be more balanced. I usually disable Containers, for example, but the ability to just disalbe the explosive option on containers would help.
As for Diddy?
Well, before Brawl, I imagined him using the Orange Grenades from DK 64.
I have a message from another time...![]()

*BOOM* FAILURE.
Agh. It's happened to me before.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaThis is exactly what detractors do with tripping too: They exaggerate how often it occurs.
I've had a bob-omb explode in my face in a Vs match, like, once. The only time it's actually happened a lot for me was 15-Minute Brawl.

Oh, right, I should update my roster. Since Toon Link returned, my ideal one is too inaccurate. Mind you, I wanted Masked Link a bit more(I used a Young Link avvie to rep him).
I'd like 3 Links, though myself. Since I don't care about clones or anything like that(nor are they a problem), and that I want a big roster with as many concepts as possible while repping the most games as possible(which is why Toon Link and Link are both extremely important), but a neat transformation concept ideally similar to Pokemon Trainer is great too.
