No, a D&D player can totlly be a Lawful Good Warlock. Warlock powers tend to come from evil sources, but not always. In 4.0, there are pacts with beings who are more inscrutable than actually evil. Heck, in 3.5 D&D, a Warlock has his power because he's the descendent of someone who made a Deal with the Devil.
In Harry Potter, it's more of a political term. Dumbledore was Chief High Warlock of the Wizengamot at one point.
What the term means, and what it means in relation to "Wizard", "Sorcerer", "Magician", or just plain "Mage" depends heavily on what setting you're in, and who you're talking to.

I have a message from another time...Changing the subject back to Smash Bros...
Who wants to bet that we'll get a character from Namco Bandai (not just popular ones like Pac Man or Klonoa, I mean any character from Namco Bandai).
My money is on a Meteos stage, but that's more me being hopeful than anything.
I can't think of any Namdai characters that I'd actually want, though.

I was hoping the Namco-Bandai characters I wanted were KOS-MOS (Xenosaga) and Kalas (Baten Kaitos) since Namco-Bandai owns the characters but Nintendo owns the company that made those games, Monolith Soft.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure![]()
Being able to create our own Event matches was something that I've wanted to see for a while now, especially with online sharing.
Provided they give the user a good variety of tools to work with rather than just tossing the feature out there like with Brawl's Stage Builder, anyway.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guySo yeah, any of the "forgotten"
Namco characters could pop up in Smash, assuming they (as in Namco) have a chance, but for the most part, I'd expect them to play it safe and choose Pac-ky, Klonoa, a Tales series character, or a Soulcalibur series character (of which I'd expect to be Nightmare/Seigfried, Sophitia, or Misturugi to be the rep) as a Call-Back the fact that Link crossed over into that series already.

What's this about advanced customization?

1) Why Porygon2 over Porygon Classic? Is it just a "let's put a pokemon in from a generation other than 1" thing?
2) ![]()
Yeah, this is the first time I've heard anything about any kind of character customization aside from speculation that "maybe you can switch around Mega Man's moves".

Why Ivy? The unique properties of her whip sword?
Actually, that's a pretty good idea.
Can we use her P2 outfit from SC 2, though?
They've said in interview and stuff that there'd be some form of customization as far back as E3 2012.

Not that I don't want her in, but I don't think she's the most likely; I'd say she has about as equal a chance as Sophitia and Taki, since those three are most recognizable females of the series.note However, Nightmare and Seig are basically the faces of the series, even before they split to wield both the Soul Swords, and Mitsurugi is pretty much the Wolverine of the series, so I'm kind of anticipating them over the others, if any of these characters are considered at all.
I'm not worried about her outfit; both her original look
◊ or her Vth look
◊ could work in Smash in my opinion.

They can maybe give him the clay bombs from Nintendo Land also, along with the special abilities that you could use.
Now's it's Shulk Time!If he is included, what sort of visual style should they depict him in? Something more faithful, like Game & Watch and the Ice Climbers, or a re-interpretation similar to Pit?
Depending on whether more emphasis is given to his sprites
◊ or original art
◊, he could look like anything from this
◊ to this
◊.

His look in Samurai Warriors 3 looks more faithful to his original art so I would be okay if they used that model for Takamaru.

Warlocks are always evil in fiction.
