No, he bracelets are apparently power limiters?
It's a plot point that's first mentioned in Sonic 06 and never again afterwards.
Granted, Shadow hasn't been seen in any major capaciy after that game, except for the rival battle in Generations, so whatever, I guess.
Mario needs the sunglasses if he's gonna be wearing the tropical shirt.
On that note, we need a costume where the Pokemon Trainer and all his Pokemon are wearing sunglasses.

I have a message from another time...Ganondorf totally needs to have his WW costume, even if it's not his exact design. Just give him the clothes. It's his only appearance with an extremely huge amount of characterization and deserves some representation, since he was awesome in it.(instead of just a good fight, that is)
Delfina Plaza Mario sounds great. I like the Sunglasses idea too.
Shadow's bracelet thing was also mentioned in Sonic X, shown directly during the Metarex Saga(as he mentions it specifically) and he did it earlier in the Sonic Adventure 2 Saga near the end. I don't remember if he took them off at the end of the Sonic Adventure 2 game, though.
...Whoops, misremembered. He doesn't gain a second one outside of his yellow costume. -_- The dark costume seemed to resemble Dark Super Sonic from Sonic X, apparently?

Shadow?- Mario: Doc Mario
- Luigi: Mr. L
- Peach: Her Jumpsuit
- Bowser: Strikers Charged Outfit
- DK: Strikers Outfit
- Pikachu: Anything will do :P
- Fox: Assault outfit
- Pit: Light Warrior
- Samus: Fusion Suit
- Marth: Masked Marth
- Kirby: Not sure...
- Olimar: Charlie
- Toon Link: Outset outfit
- Villager: Anything works
- Mega Man: Proto Man
- Sonic: Metal Sonic
- Meta Knight: Galacta Knight
- Dedede: Masked
- Zelda: Depends on her apparence this game...
- Ganon: Same as Zelda
- Captain Falcon: Black Bull or Blood Falcon
- Ness: Lucas, if he doesn't return. Poo otherwise, though my knowlede of Eathbound is limited, so I don't know if that would work out.
- Mewtwo: whatever Project M gave him :P
Sonic X is tangential to the games at best, I think.
He actually keeps the wristbands on in Sonic Adventure 2, even though all his other equipment blows off when he goes Super.
Though, that's probably more of a technical thing. The wristbands were part of his model, whereas stuff like the Flame Ring or Air Shoes were additional power-ups bolted on to the model.
I have a message from another time...Off-topic, but I did love how they changed the cutscenes to show each item equipped to the model. I've played it where characters played in the clone's level instead. So I've had Shadow equipped with the Bounce Bracelet. If I remember correctly. I know that Rouge had the Air Necklace as well. I forget if it physically showed up, though. It's been years.
Anyway, Sakurai referencing something besides the games has been established as a fact for some time now. So him showing off Sonic X's Dark Sonic is not that unbelievable. It's also the only time he looks anything like that among any media besides Brawl itself, though. Unless I missed something from the comics, but none of the game had a dark Sonic.
Shadow? Is it just me, or is Marth looking a little more feminine this time around? Maybe it's to reflect Awakening?
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]![]()
The mechanics are very different from the first, with the changes ranging from neat (the new, titular Gravity skills and how they affect the various maps, pointless fuel system scrapped, etc.) to really poor (individual attacks being reduced to an absurdly rare and useless item drop, type-specific shortcuts now costing rings for each race they're used in, midair trick system retooled into being simply timing-based and automatic rather than enjoyably exploitable, etc.). I'd say it's definitely worth a try, though.

You're certainly not the only one, but the design itself doesn't appear to borrow from Awakening in any specific fashion.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyYou know, I saw that picture of Bowser and thought "That looks a lot like a Mega Evolution..." and then an idea popped into my head for an item.
- Mega Ring: The character picks it up, and immediately transforms into a Mega form, which is visually distinct. This form is stronger overall, though the details vary from character to character. It wears off after a while.
So, like Wario's Final Smash, but not invincible, for everyone, and a bit weaker overall.
Only ones I can think of at the moment are for the Pokemon. Mewtwo's and Charizard's are their Mega Forms (X for Mewtwo and Y for Charizard), Pikachu's is Raichu, and Jigglypuff's is Wigglytuff.

Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about. The other two should have their own unique Final Smashes anyway. It felt cheesy to lump them into one character and not let them do something unique depending who was in control. Charizard gets a Mega, perhaps Squirtle does the old Final Smash, and who knows for Ivysaur? Possibly something akin to Ike's, being some combo attack.
And that means if we get one, X is a fair possibility, since it had an Anime appearance where Y didn't. Likewise, if Mewtwo got one of them, Y is the most probable since that appeared in the movie only.
Shadow? It was lame to give them all one when you play as 3 different characters. Just give it to one of them, and give the other two their own unique ones. Mega Charizard X and something for Ivysaur or Squirtle as well is fine.
I don't want it replaced, I just want more than that. It was just as bad as Sheik using the Light Arrow instead of something neat, like her Harp(could've been lots of stuff. She knows Temple songs, meaning she could've used something related to it by random. A fireball barrage flying down at enemies for the Fire Temple, for instance)
I forgive the Toon Link one, since they're still an overall character named Link in every canon game. Toon is not a term used in the Zelda games. The Star Fox ones were a bit bad, at least for Wolf, since he was already barely similar to Fox at all.(with only his Reflector being near identical besides the Landmaster) The Mother Boys were bad too, but they barely had any of their own moves for Specials, so eh.
Shadow? It's not just playing as 3 different characters. There's also the fighting as a team aspect, since they're three seperate teammates instead of a character putting on different disguises. So a team attack is something I'd expect, and I think it's cool. I think it'd be kinda lame to shunt that aspect to one side in favor of showcasing one mega form. We can easily use Mewtwo or Lucario as the poster boy for megavolutions instead.
I have a message from another time...It's not stunting the team aspect. The team aspect is there without the Final Smash. Characters eventually lag and need to switch out, and auto-switch out on being KO'd.
Nowhere is the Final Smash the only reason they seem like a Team. That's just one of 3 parts. Making it so at least one of them uses it is fine. I want them to evolve into their own characters as well, something that Brawl failed to do. They're too integrated together. Having 3 unique Final Smashes is fine as well.
Also, Pokemon don't evolve that quickly, so that wouldn't work, Cassidy. If Squirtle reappears, he can't just suddenly turn into Mega Blastoise just like that. It goes entirely against how Pokemon Evolution works. That's how Digimon works, and they are definitely not Digimon.
Mega Charizard X was heavily wanted for being a Dragon type, making it a perfect Final Smash to cater to the fans. Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Lucario... not so much. They don't cater to anyone, so they're unneeded.
Shadow?Because Mewtwo and Lucario aren't popular?
I should note that Mega Lucario is the very first Mega Evolution you see in action, and the first one you get to use yourself. Not to mention Mega Lucario's prominence in the backstory surrounding Mega Evolution, including the statue in the Tower of Mastery.
I never said that Triple Finish was the only team aspect. I feel like it continues the theme they've got, and I don't see any reason to remove it. You see every reason to, so that's fine. I see no reason to continue that point.

I have a message from another time...I never said to remove Triple Finish at all. I said that the other two could do something different while it stays on one of them.
You're arguing against something I did not say. And specified many times that I wanted it to stay overall.
You also made it sound like only Triple Finish really mattered since you mentioned nothing of the other key team aspects, so my bad on misunderstanding that.
Either way, I found their teamwork crap at best due to pure crutch-based gameplay. If they really want to make the teamwork worth using, and since Final Smashes aren't even common among the gameplay, they need to make switching among them more worth it besides replenishing their stamina. Something like them gaining a power bonus in return or something like that. That makes it worth switching.
I 100% disagree with Triple Finish being useful for all 3. And Mega Lucario doesn't even have an Anime appearance yet. Not as important as Mega Mewtwo Y(Movie) and Mega Charizard X(Pokemon Origins), especially for Smash, where Anime stuff is deemed more important than game stuff via Word of God even. Why should I care more about Mega Lucario than the other two again? What about people who saw the Anime but couldn't afford the games? Mega Lucario is not nearly as notable as Mega Mewtwo Y, and barely on Mega Charizard X's level now(especially not in popularity, since Mega Lucario doesn't cater to the Gen 1 crowd, or give anything heavily wanted, like Charizard finally being a Dragon type). So... yeah, calling bull on Mega Lucario being important for the purposes of Smash.
