[up][up][up][up]Looks like I'm not the only one with a distaste for them then.

I wouldn't go that far, wouldn't even take the time to figure out how, but I would like a peek at some of their discussions.

[down]

Oh no, people there could be right-as-rain for all I know. It's the exclusivity and the message it sends that bothers me.

We actually do have some very good people there too, as well as some pretty good areas. Sadly the "exclusive" areas are where less of that crap you mentioned happens.

But this is starting to sound more like complaining about a website and importing drama so let's move on.

I must admit, that Ness art was a very good mockup.

I love how whoever made the mockup went out of their way to scribble out the URL.

Fair warning for anybody Googling that Villager Psychopath meme, Google Images seems hellbent on shoving some rather gorey pictures instead of SSB-relevant ones to the front of the list.

Was. It's been ported to XBLA, last I looked (don't know about PSN).
Well, yeah, that is why I said "was." I was talking about in its initial release over 20 years ago.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

So, Sakurai mentioned in his comment to this image that the Links' spin attacks hit very differently. It's nice to get some indication that they'll be differentiated a little more this time around.

Yeah. At least in Melee, their ground spins were different. I can't remember any differences among their air ones, though. They just did combo damage then send them flying a bit at the last hit.

I never played as either Link much (in either Melee or Brawl), but I seem to remember one Link in Brawl would end the aerial spin with a launch hit and the other with a knockback hit, but that could be faulty memory on my part.

I'm kind of wondering what palette swaps will be given to Mega Man. I guess they could just go classic and go with the ones that match the weapons he gets (so the classic light blue/medium blue for the default, white/medium blue for the Air Shooter, white/red for the Rush Coil, cream/orange for the Spark Shot, and so on). Though I have to wonder if they'll include some of his more... interesting outfits (like the light purple/dark purple ensemble that went with the Time Stopper).

In both games, Adult Link's Spin Attack would send the opponent away with one hit, while the younger Link's Spin Attack would keep the opponent trapped, dealing several small hits, before sending them away with a final hit.

I'd personally love to see Thunder Bolt as a color. Which, now that I think about it, looks pretty dang close to Bad Box Art Mega Man.

I remember in an interview Mr. Sakurai said that he was going to give Mega Man a Quint palette swap, but no one on the development team remembered who Quint was.

It was a bad future Mega Man from one of the GB games.

He is supposedly Mega Man from the future captured and reprogrammed by Wily.

He fights using a doofy jackhammer thingy and is considered really easy.

He looks cool at least, and is counted as an honorary Mega Man Killer by fans, as he fills the same role that the three Mega Man Killers fill in the other GB Mega Man games.

EDIT: Ninja'd.

Yeah. Not having played that game, I only recall him from the MS Paint Masterpieces comice where, like many Mega Man bosses, he is far more menacing.

No. I think the last revealed new stage was... the Other M one?

The only Smash series stage we know about is Battlefield. The boxing ring is still up in the air as well.
