Most recent image is just Sonic and Mario having a battle
◊ at the gorgeous Windy Hill Zone.
^^ We are all in agreement that both of those should be playable.

Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia! Now that's Tempting Fate.
"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValThe electricity is a bit weird. It's probably Sonic's Forward Smash somewhat similar to Brawl. Maybe he gained electricity in the attack? Since he has Electric/Fire/Water shields, taking a bit from that area isn't surprising. That, and the character is heavily associated with wind, and electricity is sometimes thrown under that element.
Does he have any electric abilities among the Wisps at all?
Shadow?Speed and Wind actually. He's used Fire, Water, and Electric stuff before, however.
Also, some of his Wisp powers do give him various elemental moves. Sometimes turning into an elemental being. One notable one here is the Ivory Wisp from the newest game, where he turns into a lightning bolt.
So um, yes, he does use electricity. I'd go with Wind and Electrical moves for him as they both are air related, which fits him the best. Fire is his most used element besides those two, with Water technically unused as a direct attack.(and it was changed to what's essentially the Bounce Attack, based upon the same move he can use with the Water Shield)
Shadow? As much as I dislike Golden Sun, Isaac would make a great combatant to Smash. And even if he didn't make it, I'd love to see a stage based on Golden Sun, such as one of the lighthouses or Mt. Aleph's peak after the Golden Sun was recreated.
Oh, and for the Miiverse quote:

That you'd disagree with a statement I made was expected and thus counted into the margin of error in the approximation of "everyone".
@26294 I know how you feel. I half-anticipate, half-dread coming into this thread.
@26299 And open up the Pandora's Box of what tunes totally should or shouldn't make it in? YOU FOOL.
In all seriousness, if I can throw out some musical choices...
- Arceus' theme, Pokémon series - Starts slow and tense, then gets suitably frantic. Has a "boss fight" feel to it (makes sense), so maybe as a possible choice on Final Destination.
- Robot Master Select, Mega Man series - Obviously, not as the entirety of the stage's music. But at least one of the Mega Man tunes used in the game should start with this, then segue into the song used. It's only right.
- Stage 101 (aka, Final Boss Theme), Donkey Kong '94 - It's a pretty epic remix of the classic theme with incorporations from other parts of an awesome and underrated soundtrack.
- Labyrinth, The Legend Of Zelda - This would need a bit of jazzing up, because it can be repetitive... but I still hold that this was the most foreboding music in the series.
- Funky Monkey Dance (aka Salsa's Theme), Mother 3 - This is awesome; it's practically impossible to not like it.
Also, if I can have one wish, it'd be that you can acquire K. K. Slider songs for play during any stage. Hey, I have a jukebox with over 40 K. K. Slider songs in New Leaf; it only makes sense that I can get his songs in a crossover game he appears in. Also, I'm not going to schedule Smash time every Saturday night. Among other things, I already schedule time with him in New Leaf (seriously, I schedule it).
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I'd like Crocodile Cacaphony and Snakey Shanty from DKC 2.
From Xenoblade, I'd like Engage The Enemy, You Will Know Our Names, and Mechanical Rhythym.
From Mega Man, I'd like Concrete Jungle, among others.
I have a message from another time...I don't know if spoiler tags are really necessary on a game that's 19 years old. Though yeah, the Stage 100 fight music is pretty sweet too. Also, for all that it was an inspiration for the Mario vs. Donkey Kong games and inspiring the revamp of DK's look, Donkey Kong '94 doesn't get as much love as it deserves. I still dust off the Super Game Boy and play it occasionally. I'd love to see it get a major musical shoutout in Smash, regardless of which song was picked.
A few more tunes for consideration:
- Boss Fight, Mii Force - There's a couple of tunes that could work from the four downloadable Street Pass titles, but this is probably the one I think fits best.
- Final Boss Fight, Warrior's Way - Almost a Wasted Song due to how little you get to hear it (outside of the sound test), but it's also worthy of inclusion.
- Character Select, Super Mario Bros. 2 - I'm one of the weirdos that love this game, and I always found this tune particularly catchy. For bonus points, have it play on a level where Phanto occasionally comes out as a level hazard.
- Cave Exploration, StarTropics - There are plenty of issues I have with this game (particularly the sequel), but the music isn't one of them. Man, that's some good music.
Also, one with a stage recommendation - the original Super Mario Kart version of Rainbow Road, and a level designed like it - auto-scrolling (similar to the F-Zero levels), lots of hazards, and even an AI that hates your humanity. But to be fair, I'm a bit of a pixel masochist.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.

I personally believe the main reason we CAN'T add a Golden Retriever is because... of... them.
