I finally downloaded and played Project M today. The hard part was finding a 2GB SD card (I resorted to Amazon) - the actually download took a couple minutes, not counting the load time.
The game is really fast, even faster than Melee. I'm split as to whether that's a good thing. I know that I don't like how you can't ledgegrab from behind. At least Tripping's gone and the C-stick works in Solo.
Ganondorf's back to his former glory. Wario is probably the most fun to play, but I'm disappointed that he no longer has a bike, since you don't see many vehicle-riding Fighting characters. I'm really interested in Meta Knight: his Up-B is his only viable recovery move while his combo ability has, if anything, been toned up.

- You're not the only one; Melee's gravity is ridiculous.
Does anyone know if there has been an update for the Smash Bros Roster Maker thing yet?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI remember when he used to put it up around 2:30 PM Australian time. I liked that because as soon as I got home from Tafe I had something to look forward to immediately.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI preferred Melee's faster-paced and heavier fighting, but the thought of "Melee, but faster and more technical so that newbs can't enjoy it" makes me cringe a little.
Brawl's gravity was good for single player modes that weren't straight-up fighting, though. SSE comes to mind, but I think the topic of "SSE and Brawl's gravity" was only discussed a page or two ago, was it not?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI don't play Smash competitively, but this could be really good news for those that do, and it is consistent in some sense because Smash 4 looks to be balanced between Melee and Brawl.

Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashThe nice thing about the Wii U and 3DS versions is that Sora will be able to freely patch, so we don't have to worry about major character imbalances. Unintended god-tier characters like Meta Knight could be leveled in a matter of weeks from launch, and adjustments could occur across the lifetime of the games.
Even on a competitive level I prefer Brawl's physics to Melee's, but I think somewhere in the middle (Or more like 2/3rds from Melee and 1/3rd from Brawl) would be ideal for Smash Bros.
I prefer Brawl's, but that doesn't mean it can't be improved.
I'd still prefer it not be as combo-oriented as Melee's. I liked Brawl's de-emphasis on combos.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Are you sure that'll be something choose to do at all and that they won't just leave the game as-is once it actually launches?
Balancing out stuff like Meta Knight is supposed to be taken care of before the game launches via testing, anyway.
Square should do what Konami did and cut a deal with Nintendo so I can finally play as Sora in Super Smash,
Disney would have to give permission too. If I recall, all the Kingdom Hearts stuff is co-owned by Disney and Square.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Though if Square were to do it, they'd probably push for Lighting instead.
SSE is the one point where Brawl's gravity was actually horrible. Everybody weighed way more than they should have. In regular modes, they weighed too little. I would've switched them entirely.
Has Lightning even made a Nintendo appearance before? Sora is at least possible, but unlikely due to co-ownership, not making him worth the money(and that's pretty much the main reason Sakurai wouldn't bother. He is a well known enough character, so it's not like he wouldn't help sell the game or anything like that).
Shadow?Has Lightning ever appeared in a game on a Nintendo console though?

How's that?
I just thought it made it hard to listen half the time.
