I believe the PMDT may have made a Geno mod that didn't get implemented in PM.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Well, I know of a mod that Geno and a few others appear in: Smash Bros. Legacy. Has anyone else here heard of it? It's something of a Spiritual Successor to Project M built off of it.

An open mind and compassionate heart are among the most important qualities we can have. It's great to see what some modders could do with Brawl. I understand it comes with the territory of modding console-only games, but it's a shame Brawl mods couldn't be a bit more accessible, especially for those of us with PAL versions.
I suppose the increasing viability for people to emulate Wii games via Dolphin helps more nowadays.
Where is muh K. Rool?
They promised me a K.Rool this 22 of July? WHERE IS HE?
Uni cat
Hey, the day's not out yet. Any moment now, you know.
Honestly, the most impressive ones for me were Project M because of how it altered the gameplay and Super Smash Bros. Infinite because of the amount of characters and skins it added. (I think it does trump Ultimate in terms of roster size)
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I still don't see why people expected something to get revealed today, sure a "leak" predicted it but if something was gonna be announced, we'd have it already. Also it's not even the 22nd in Japan right now.
Well, it's 23rd now...
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy. All these 'leaks' are forcing Nintendo to change the date for their next Direct. When the 'leaks' stop, then Nintendo will have a new Direct with Smash Bros. Info.
Sakurai delays Ultimate by one day whenever someone posts a "leak".
Then we might just have a 2019 release date after all.
Still earlier than Metroid Prime 4.
You know the more I think about it the more convinced I am that Geno has a chance. There's no reason to update his design for just a costume, and you know who else got a redesign? Fucking Ridley, that's who.
His design takes elements from a lot of his appearances. If he followed the typical Smash design formula then he'd just be based on his look from Other M, where he was swole.
Ridley's design is based mostly on his Super Metroid sprite though, with elements from other appearances.
Yeah but it's not a 1-1, which is what I'm trying to say.
Off the top of my head other characters to get updated designs in Smash are Marth in Melee, Pit and Wolf in Brawl, and Roy in Smash For.
Peach's dress is always way more detailed in Smash Bros. than it is in her own series, as of Ultimate this applies to Daisy too.
I mean, a few Assist Trophy characters have had small changes to their designs as well.

This song needs more love.Prince of Sable is really the only one to get the amount of changes seen in the playable cast, and in Geno's Mii costume.
Though I also had it pointed out that K.Rool's costume amalgamates aspects of his Rare and Paon designs.
What are the changes in Geno's costume?
I guess being a lot more expressive since Mario RPG didn't have much for facial expressions.
Uni catGeno's hat ends on a point and the emblem is different, his ribbons are closer together, his shawl is longer and the collar is more popped upwards, he has visible joints all over his body, and there's a new more wooden texture to his body.
Today's Fighter is the Mii Fighter; and there actually is a small bit of new info included:
I remember that they were going to add in Knuckles and Isaac, but then they abruptly closed it to pre-emptively avoid Nintendo suing them for their original IP fighting game (at the suggestion of their lawyer).
Copyright is weird like that.
