Which kinda stinks since that would have been the perfect opportunity for Z Moves to kick in (Hydro Vortex and Bloom Doom, specifically).
Apparently Sakurai's favorite Taunt is Ridely's Down Taunt (The one where he stands up).
4 meters is pretty tall for Smash now that I think about it.
It's pretty big.
Oh snap, I didn't realize we'd lost Mega Charizard X. And did we really lose Rock Smash? Is Charizard keeping the (far inferior) Flare Blitz? Lame!
3 z moves on screen won't fit
We got a Mega Man 4 Medley by Jun Senoue
Wow, a post-megaman 3 song
I'm sure they meant that the Pokemon you happen to have out at the time gets their own Final Smash.
Also after listening, wow - heavy metal music Megaman. That's a rarity.
Eh, remember it's Pokemon Trainer, not Pokemon. Even the attack portrait features the trainer than the mon.

That's indeed what I meant.
Since everyone's back I wonder if that means my friend the after-match rewards list is back too, to tell me I was Master of Disaster every match.
I'm just glad custom moves are gone. Those were probably my least favorite things in Smash 4. Beats the hell out of stickers, though.
I'd be fine without customs if Mega Man didn't suck without them.
Custom Moves in themselves were fine.
The method for unlocking them was not.
Not being able to use them in like half of the game's modes for literally no good reason was not.
Not being able to toggle Custom Moves and Equipment on and off separately was not.
Uh, real dragons can't do either of those things.
Do we have confirmation that custom moves are gone?
I don't really care about them, so I'm glad they're gone if that development time can be alotted toward something better. Though I do expect the Mii Fighters to have multiple move options, maybe even more than before.
Mii Fighters probably have them, but Palutena's bit in the E3 video talked about how she was streamlined.
Looks like Palutena has Warp, Celestial Fireworks, Counter/Reflect (Counter for physical hits, Reflect for projectiles). I don't know what her fourth special is.
Megaman getting 12 moves made sense, but Palutena? Nope. And if that wasn't bad enough, her default specials were the worst combination. 2 counter moves, a comically weak projectile and non damaging third jump? Did they want people to dislike her?
Mii has the custom moves. We saw brawler doing his two different up b's.
Why does Palutena getting multiple moves make no sense...?
Also, I'm not sure where you're getting 2 counters from...
She had a physical and projectile counter in Smash For that's been rolled into one move.
It's a downgraded barrier though, no more persisting barrier
Her shown moves appear to be Warp, Counter/Reflect Barrier, Autoreticle, and Explosive Flame (not Celestial Fireworks)
Something to note is that Explosive Flame and Autoreticle used to both be neutral B moves in For. One of them is a side-B now. With Counter and Reflect Barrier (a former Side-B) rolled into one as well, it's looking more and more like customs are just gone. Which is a shame, because Lightweight Palutena was hilarious fun.
The gimmick of her having a bunch of different moves was meant to represent all the various Powers that Pit could equip in Uprising, since those are supposed to be granted by Palutena.
We haven't, actually. I checked the trailer. We see Brawler using one of his old Up B's (the soaring axe kick). The other move that looks like an Up B (a rising uppercut attack) looks like a fiery version of his old Ultimate Uppercut attack, which was a neutral B move, albeit one that had some lift and would make you fall if done in midair.
