Project Moon's penchant for dark and dystopian settings meshes surprisingly well with Forgotten Land's premise, and ends up getting good reception.
A live action movie adaptation of Fox in Socks, with Fox voiced by Eric Bauza and Bill Murray as Knox. Currently Reading: N/A
The book's premise doesn't mesh very well with the live action medium, and the CGI designs for the character fall deep into the Uncanny Valley.
The Fairly OddParents!, but it's a Darker and Edgier horror comedy inspired by Irish folklore.

I want to go to Tonio's.Timmy is praised for being less stupid and jerkish at times and the Comedic Sociopathy by Wanda and Cosmo (who are given lots of Adaptational Villainy) earns lots of praise.

The pigs are straight-up nightmarish boar demons who attack a chain of chicken farms, stealing eggs, killing and eating both livestock and people. The farmers are forced to genetically mutate themselves into Bird People, and build gigantic catapults to throw themselves at the pigs hard enough to pierce their skin with their weapons. Blood and gore ensues.

Best-case scenario is that he's given enough creative freedom to deliver a faithful adaptation. Worst case scenario is that History Repeats with The Last Airbender and Executive Meddling from Paramount tarnishes everything.

The Twilight Zone (1959) as an animated show starring a Rod Sterling-type Character who experiences most, if not all, of the events of the show.
Even through it's lighter than George's usual works, it's still one of the darkest takes on the Zelda story — far darker than even Twilight Princess. The fanbase is split down the middle, no thanks to the fact that Link here is not only an violent Anti-Hero, but he also dies in the end no matter what.

It adapts Kiryu's Real Estate Royale from Yakuza 0 into a Monopoly clone. However, when there is a building dispute, the play turns into a DnD-style encounter, with dice rolls and HP. Whoever is the last one standing wins.

What do you get when you put Samurai Jack, the Powerpuff Girls, Dexter, the Imaginary Friends, Billy and Mandy, and Courage the Cowardly Dog in the same elimination camp? Chaos. And Chris Mc Clean gets violently murdered by Mojo Jojo at one point, but he asked for it.
