I’d imagine the plot would be the same, but the dialogue would be like the dialogue in the movies and TV shows you can watch in Persona 5, as in very edgy and gritty.

Donkey Kong Country as a nature documentary.

The documentary is a plea for help for the Kong Gorilla, a critically endangered subspecies consisting of only 13 individuals trapped on the remote Kong Island. The documentary depicts the struggle of the remaining gorillas, led by one nicknamed "Donkey", to survive against dangers both natural — like the crocodylus crudelis crocodiles that also inhabit the island — and manmade — such as deforestation, pollution and climate change.
The Island of Doctor Moreau as a Furry Dating Sim.
Trope Editor (he/him)A very bizarre Dating Sim with weird animals. It becomes an odd cult classic, mainly among furries.

SiIvaGunner but it's an alternate universe where The Voice Inside Your Head successfully launched the Reboot without issues.
Eh, good enough. The baddest of all futures ever to be ripped.
Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina in the style of the "ai dm sessions".
"You can't spell 'Wario' without 'war'."Your mind is screwed by the plot more than the lobotomy itself...
The Human Centipede... but made for preschoolers.
A wacky gross-out tale involving a hammy Mad Scientist and lots and lots of Toilet Humor.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre but they're all ghouls of the Tokyo Ghoul variety. Trope Editor (he/him)
While not as popular as the actual movie, it gains a Cult Classic following for its outlandish monster designs.

Team Fortress 2... On the Nintendo Switch.

Eh, good enough.- Features like taunting disabled due to limited amount of buttons.
- No command console
- Inferior framerate puts Switch players at a disadvantage
- Disconnects more frequent than full matches
- Connection to item server gets lost way too often
- Motion controls added. Nobody uses them despite them being the default.
- Competitive mode removed, not like it'd be playable anyway.
- On a positive note hackers and bots are banned with zero tolerance.
- Horrible lag
- More Nintendo-themed cosmetics plus a new crate full of these.
- Entire alternate gamemodes category removed and then re-added after significant backlash.
- Four classes get added into Smash as mediocre spirits.
- Squeakers return in full "glory"
- Paid on eshop, item store removed, refusal to bring back the Proof of Purchase causes servers to fill with "F2Ps".
- Switch playership dead within two weeks.
- Game makes a profit within one week.
"GET THAT PIZZA!" the video game.
Edited by VidExGuy on Sep 6th 2020 at 9:54:04 AM
Forum signature. It's a fighting game! Yay! However, the following problems occur.
- 1: There are two gamemodes. Combat and Classic. In Classic, every attack is a one hit kill. In Combat, healthbars become a thing, but the controls are sluggish and the fighters are horribly unbalanced.
- 2: The creativity of the attacks is drained. Because of the limited format of fighting games, everyone only has a couple attacks, both of which lose all novelty value within a few uses.
- 3: The game allegedly has story mode, but it's just a battle against a lineup of AI controlled players, with no ending.
- 4: The only good part is the intro cinematic, which is remarkably high quality. Then you realize it was ripped from the much more successful (and faithful) adaption, GET THAT PIZZA! the movie.
- 5: Remember how in Combat mode, the fighters are horribly unbalanced? Well, they are in Classic mode too, because some have attacks which are simply faster and longer ranged than others, and some can summon new things onto the field to block the one hit kill attacks, while also scoring one hit kills themselves.
- 6: The music is terrible.
- 7: Half of the fighters are DLC, and which are DLC is completely unrelated to logic at all. For example, Whistle, Jake, and Knife are DLC fighters, despite being in the logo, whereas Florien and Melecie are in the base game, despite joining after the logo was done.
- 8: The game lags badly when online play is conducted.
- 9: Sometimes, ninjas will appear and block an attack. This happens completely at random, and the ninjas always block the attack successfully.
- 10: The Pizza only has a tangential role in the whole thing, merely being the item that is taken from the fallen fighter's corpse by the winner. Otherwise, the Pizza barely figures into anything at all.
However, it makes an enormous profit when several reviewers cover it as a spectacularly bad game. Bile Fascination takes over, and it becomes part of everyone's library.
Stratego, the movie.

Basically a war movie with super-high ranks that ends up being very classist and orderly.
October Faction as a terrible Netflix show.
she/her/they | wall | sandboxSo basically the special effects are mediocre, and the monsters are played by unconvincing animatronics.
Kemono Friends, but the Friends, except Kaban, are male funny animals instead of the animal-eared cute girls they are.

Considerably worse so much that weebs start deriding it. However, it seems better for most Western Animation fans.

"You can't spell 'Wario' without 'war'."It's no longer viable in the competitive scene now that it's basically "M.U.G.E.N with official Nintendo characters", but thinking up new matchups for the next season of DEATH BATTLE! got a whole lot easier.
Soulcalibur VI, using only the replacement characters from Soulcalibur V and the Original Generation characters from Soulcalibur III's "Tales of Souls" mode.
"It ain't about whether you win or lose, unless you got money on the game, because...damn. That's your money, son."Everyone drops it because they're all characters that they don't recognize and the create-a-character option is not there.
A Sylvester Stallone action movie where he can't seem to make up his mind whether he wants to be Rocky or Rambo.
The legend has returned. There's far more angst and feelings of identity crisis and impostor syndrome than action scenes; some may interpret that him being Rocky and/or Rambo would feel like it's all in his mind.

The show stays in the Spanish-speaking sphere of influence, but Latino weebs love to put fight music over the ridiculously dramatic cat fights.
