That's a HORRIBLE adaptation!

It feels almost like a parody of the original; yet it's executed so well that it's quite entertaining. The best part? The cinematography takes itself just as seriously as the original.

A Mega Man crossover fan game with Girls' Frontline using similar gameplay to Mega Man & Bass where Bass fights Griffon and Kryuger Tactical Dolls holding Robot Master weapons from the DWN numbers (no weapons from 1, 9, the aforementioned MM&B, and 11) and Mega Man fights Sangvis Ferri ringleaders holding Maverick weapons (one each from X1 to X8).

Both Mega Man and Bass trash all the SF units effortlessly due to their far superior weapons.

It becomes Lighter and Softer for one. In addition, all of the humans are also replaced by anthropomorphic food in turn, and the rest of the demons are cute human girls.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, but as a Shoujou instead of a Shonen

I was not expecting that. But I was expecting to expect Mhazard so it doesn't count.

A few notable differences include a bunch of Pillar Women surviving Kars' rampage and awakening to prevent Kars from doing his job well, Stone Ocean becoming a dating sim thanks to Jolyne as main character, and Stands being relegated to Magical Girl power-ups.

An interesting take for an already Nintendo Hard game.

Captain Planet and the Planeteers, but added with more issues such as LGBT rights and universal healthcare, while the Planeteers are only addressing climate change with Hotter and Sexier gear.

It’s received really nice for the new issues, but hated because the Hotter and Sexier stuff. Fans try to make the creators reboot it into a PG-12 stuff that a bit closer to the original stuff.

It's too light-hearted to the point not even kids would be interested in reading it.

Ghost also undergoes a gender swap. Classic fans inevitably devolve into very noticeable flame wars over it, despite the fact that Ghost just remains the same as ever.

Add a shit-ton of misogyny, misandry, and nonbinaryphobia, give it with twice the budget than Endgame while looking lower-budget than Plan 9 From Outer Space, and overall make every single character have one line of dialogue that they repeat over and over without any change in inflection whatsoever.

Golden Girls is a lot more of a dramedy, and it's even more willing to tackle heavy subjects. While it is canceled early for that reason, Golden Girls becomes a cult classic for years to come.

The Walking Dead but all the zombies retain their intelligence and personality but still have a focus on eating people.

It's now a comedy in the style of Daybreak with the post-apocalyptic lands roamed by Warlord humans and intelligent zombies who can be cordial and kind to one another.

Shaun of the Dead but as an animated series of 50 episodes.

It uses the means of animation to tell an epic zombie story.

The Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy opera.
