D.D. Wormhole
Continuous Spell Card
Once per turn, you can banish 1 card from your deck, face-up. During each of your Standby Phases, if this card is banished: you can target 1 banished "D.D." monster; Special Summon that target.

D.D. Gatedrone
Level 1/DARK
Machine/Effect
During either's players' turn, you can discard this card: banish all cards in your Graveyard, and if you do, you gain 300 LP for each card banished this way. While this card is banished, any card that would be sent to your Graveyard is banished instead.

  • Edge Imp Marionette Master
  • Level 9
  • Dark / Fiend
  • Fusion: (3 or more Edge Imp monsters)
  • This card counts as a Frightfur monster. If this card was fusion summoned using 5 or more Edge Imp monsters as fusion material, it cannot be affected by card effects. When this card is special summoned, target a number of Frightfur monsters in your graveyard equal to the number of Fusion Material used to summon this card; special summon those cards ignoring their summoning conditions. This card gains 600 atk for each Fluffal and Edge Imp monster in your graveyard and removed from play.
  • 1000/1000
  • A white masked creature with two purple lines running down from the empty eyes to the edges of the mask, which has a dark, long smile drawn on there. It has two Edge Imp Tomahawks for shoulders, Edge Imp Chains for arms, Edge Imp Scissors for each digit on its hands, Edge Imp Saw for its shoulder blades, and it seems otherwise entirely made of the black energy that animates Edge Imp monsters.

I'm thinking either a Union-based archetype, with the mechs being Unions for the pilots, or an archetype based on Tribute Summoning-

  • Material Vortex
  • Continuous Trap Card
  • When this card is activated, Declare a Rank: Neither player can Xyz Summon Xyz Monsters with that Rank. During either Player's End Phase: Banish 1 Xyz Monster from your Extra deck with the same Rank, or destroy this card. There can only be one face-up "Material Vortex" on your side of the Field.

  • Experienced Trap Master

    [Wyrm / Xyz / Effect]
    3 Level 4 WATER-attribute monsters

    ATK 2350 / DEF 2000

(That's just four of... many.)

It can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each this turn, but it cannot destroy monsters in battle.

[up] Those look good, but Crane needs fixing really badly.

Crane was fixed.

I admit I am curious as to how a deck based on this archetype would be built.

Posting some of my fiancée's own cards; I do have her permission. They're all related to the Greek letter Delta and have a Xyz/Gemini monster and a Fusion/Gemini monster.

  • Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat X
    DARK / ******* (Rank 7)
    [Fiend / Xyz / Gemini]
    2 Level 7 DARK Fiend-type monsters
This card is treated as a Level 7 Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Xyz Monster with this effect:
    • Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to increase its ATK by 1000. If you do, and this card did not attack during the Battle Phase, decrease the ATK of all monsters on your side of the field by 500.
    ATK 2900 / DEF 2550
  • Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat Y
    DARK / ******* (Rank 7)
    [Fiend / Xyz]
    3 Level 7 DARK Fiend-type monsters
    ATK 2800 / DEF 2400
  • Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat Z
    DARK / ******* (Rank 7)
    [Fiend / Xyz / Effect]
    2 Level 7 DARK Fiend-type monsters
During your opponent's Draw Phase, you can detach 1 Xyz Material; if you do, select and remove from play 1 card in your opponent's hand.
    ATK 2200 / DEF 2700
  • Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat XYZ
    DARK / ************ (Level 12)
    [Fiend / Fusion / Effect]
"Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat X" + "Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat Y" + "Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat Z".
Any Xyz Material on those cards are placed on this card when it is Fusion Summoned. This card is treated as an Xyz Monster while it has Xyz Materials. Once per turn, you can detach 2 Xyz Materials to Special Summon 1 Fiend-type Effect Monster from your Graveyard, except "Grecian Letter" monsters. During the Battle Phase, if this monster is in face-up Defense Position, it is switched to face-up Attack Position.
    ATK 4000 / DEF 4500
  • Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat XY
    DARK / ********* (Level 9)
    [Fiend / Fusion / Gemini]
"Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat X" + "Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat Y".
Any Xyz Material on those cards are placed on this card when it is Fusion Summoned. This card is treated as an Xyz Monster while it has Xyz Materials. This card is treated as a Level 7 Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Fusion Monster with this effect:
    • Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to increase its ATK by 100 until the End Phase of this turn. If you do, during your End Phase, increase your Life Points by the amount of ATK points of this card and skip the Draw and Standby Phases of your next turn.
    ATK 3500 / DEF 3100
  • Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat XZ
    DARK / ********** (Level 10)
    [Fiend / Fusion]
"Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat X" + "Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat Z".
    ATK 3000 / DEF 3800
  • Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat YZ
    DARK / ********** (Level 10)
    [Fiend / Fusion]
"Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat Y" + "Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat Z".
    ATK 3800 / DEF 3000
  • Grecian Letter δ: Ultimate Eye Bat XYZ
    DARK / ************ (Level 12)
    [Fiend / Synchro / Effect]
1 DARK Fiend-type Tuner + 4 "Grecian Letter δ" non-Tuner monsters of any Level or Rank.
This card must be Synchro Summoned using the above cards as Synchro Materials and cannot be Special Summoned by any other method. If this card is destroyed by battle, your opponent gains Life Points equal to this card's original ATK.
    ATK 5000 / DEF 5000
  • Grecian Letter δ: Eye Bat Token
    DARK / **** (Level 4)
    [Fiend / Token]
This card can only be used as a Tribute for Synchro Summoning a "Grecian Letter δ" Synchro Monster. It is treated as a Level 4 Tuner Monster in that case. Any Battle Damage you take from a battle involving this card becomes 0.
    ATK 0 / DEF 1000

At this time, those is the only cards that I'm aware of that she made; if Ellen has thought up any others I wouldn't know of them yet.
