Is there a better term than Optional effects? Because I don't know if it works that way... Perhaps it could say, "Your opponent cannot choose to activate a card effect."

  • Lackluster Soldier
    • Level 6 LIGHT Warrior 2000 ATK / 1500 Def
    • Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT or 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard. Once per duel, you can activate 1 of these effects.
      • If the monster you banished was LIGHT, target 1 monster on the field; banish that target face-up. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect.
      • If the monster you banished was DARK, during the Damage Step, if this attacking card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: It can make a second attack in a row.

Just because of the Law And Order SVU episode that happens to be on at the moment, there should be a card named "Vanity's Bonfire".

Almost all of my duels have giant backrows. So yes, seeing something akin to Heavy is nice.

It also has an entirely fair cost for the "unchainable" part. No battle phase? Okay. Being an exact amount helps as well.
