The reason Pot of Greed is banned is because it's a free 2 cards, no downsides. You card is a free seven cards, with special summoning that ignores summoning requirements (which I don't think exists outside of very specific cases, i.e., on specific cards) on top of that. Draw this turn 1, you are going to have a full field, prior to doing anything else.

Tricky Draw

  • Spell
  • Draw one card. If it can be Normal Summoned, Special Summon it. If it cannot be Normal Summoned, discard it and one other random card.

Berserk Gene

  • Spell [Continuous]
  • When a monster you control declares an attack, add one Berserk Counter to this card (max. 6). Monsters you control gain 400 ATK for each Berserk Counter on this card. Before damage calculation when a monster you control attacks, roll a die. If the score is less than the number of Berserk Counters on this card, negate that attack. Once per turn, during your Main Phase you may remove all counters from this card.

@Plumbum: For D.Demon's summoning requirements, where are you "sending" the D.D. cards from? Hand? Field? Deck? It should specify. Whether it can be all of them, or just one of them. I presume atleast deck is one of them, but it's not terribly clear.

It says that you send banished D.D. monsters to the Grave, which implies that they must start out in the Banished Zone, since I don't think that cards can be both banished and not in the Banished Zone.

Genome Constraint
Continuous Trap Card

As long as this card is face-up on the Field, tribute summons, special summons, special summon conditions and/or any of their effects of any particular card can only be fulfilled via cards of the same type and attribute as the card to be summoned. Levels of monster cards on the Field cannot be modified. Monsters Special Summoned cannot be used as catalysts for Summons the turn they are summoned. If this card leaves the field through an opponent's card effect, the card's controller can declare a type OR attribute - cards of the chosen type or attribute cannot be special summoned or activate their effects until the End Phase of the next turn.

How it works: If the card is on the field and you want to summon Stardust Dragon (a WIND / Dragon Synchro monster), your summoning requirements are no longer just a tuner and one or more non-tuner monsters, they also have to be WIND attribute and Dragon type.

And I just destroyed the metagame with one card.

Well, if I'm reading it correctly, Prophecies can't summon Priestess, because she's not a SPELL attribute Spell-type monster, Evilswarms can't do anything, Dragon Rulers have no xyz options...doesn't really allow for much variety in the user's deck either though.

Okay, so another themed one here, based on another work, in this case, the Soul Series. It's an archetype that is based around using Fusion Monsters that are fused using the archetype's two signature equip cards ("Soul Calibur" and "Soul Edge") as well as monsters that can put out power early game, but needs to win fast or it's cards will end up unpowered mid to late game, unless one has been steadily accumulating power into Pyrrha Ω or Nightmare.

It also fares well against Banish decks, as they power up the arche's boss monsters.

Soul Calibur

  • Spell [Equip]
  • The monster equipped with this card gains 500 ATK. Once per turn, if this card is equipped to a "Soul" monster; this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. Gain 500 Life Points during each of your Standby Phases. You can only control one "Soul Calibur" and if you control this card, you cannot control a "Soul Edge".

Soul Edge

  • Spell [Equip]
  • The monster equipped with this card gains 1000 ATK. Once per turn, if this card is equipped to a "Soul" monster; this card cannot be destroyed by card effects, except the effects of this card. Pay 1000 Life Points during each of your Standby Phases or destroy this card. When the monster equipped with this card destroys a monster by battle, gain 500 Life Points. You can only control one "Soul Edge" and if you control this card, you cannot control a "Soul Calibur".

Cursed Sword's Heir

  • Spell
  • Tribute, from your hand or your side of the field, the cards that are listed on a Fusion Monster Card that lists "Soul Edge" as a Fusion Material, then Special Summon that monster from your Extra Deck (This summon is treated as a Fusion Summon).

Holy Sword's Heir

  • Spell
  • Tribute, from your hand or your side of the field, the cards that are listed on a Fusion Monster Card that lists "Soul Calibur" as a Fusion Material, then Special Summon that monster from your Extra Deck (This summon is treated as a Fusion Summon).

Soul - Patroklos

  • Monster (Level 3/LIGHT/Warrior)
  • 1350/500
  • Whilst this card is equipped with "Soul Calibur", you may Tribute this card to Special Summon an "α Patroklos" from your Extra Deck, treating the Summon as a Fusion Summon.

Soul - Pyrrha

  • Monster (Level 3/LIGHT/Warrior)
  • 500/1350
  • Whilst this card is equipped with "Soul Edge", you may Tribute this card to Special Summon a "Pyrrha Ω" from your Extra Deck, treating the Summon as a Fusion Summon.

Soul - Tira

  • Monster (Level 4/DARK/Warrior)
  • 1500/1000
  • When this card is Summoned, you may add one "Soul - Pyrrha" or one "Soul Edge" from your Deck to your Hand.

Soul - Siegfried

  • Monster (Level 4/LIGHT/Warrior)
  • 1600/1200
  • When this card is Summoned, you may add one "Soul - Patroklos" or one "Soul Calibur" from your Deck to your Hand.

Soul - Astaroth

  • Monster (Level 4/EARTH/Warrior)
  • 2000/0
  • A feared golem, created by the Fygul Cestemus clan to seek Soul Edge. Few can survive the blows of his mighty axe.

Soul - Raphael

  • Monster (Level 3/DARK/Warrior)
  • 1000/500
  • Once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. You do not take any Battle Damage from battles involving this card.

Soul - Edge Master

  • Monster (Level 4/EARTH/Warrior)
  • ?/?
  • When this card is Normal Summoned, choose 3 "Soul -" monsters from your Main Deck and have your opponent select one at random. This card's ATK, DEF, name, level, attribute and effect are treated as those of the selected card.

Soul - Nightmare

  • Monster (Level 6/DARK/Warrior/Fusion)
  • 2300/2300
  • "Soul - Siegfried" or "Soul - Raphael" + "Soul Edge"
  • When this card destroys a monster by battle, banish that monster. This card gains 100 ATK for every banished card and an extra 100 ATK for each banished "Soul Calibur". During your Main Phase, you may discard one card to banish "Soul Calibur" from your hand, Deck or Graveyard. This card cannot be destroyed by card effects, except it's own. If this card and any Fusion monster with "α" in it's name is on your side of the field, destroy this card.

Soul - Pyrrha Ω

  • Monster (Level 5/DARK/Warrior/Fusion)
  • 2000/1900
  • "Soul - Pyrrha" + "Soul Edge"
  • When this card destroys a monster by battle, banish that monster. This card gains 200 ATK for every banished card and an extra 100 ATK for each banished "Soul Calibur". This card cannot be destroyed by card effects, except it's own. If this card and "Soul - α Siegfried" are on your side of the field, destroy this card.

Soul - α Patroklos

  • Monster (Level 5/LIGHT/Warrior/Fusion)
  • 2450/1750
  • "Soul - Patroklos" + "Soul Calibur"
  • If "Soul - Pyrrha" is on your side of the field, that card cannot be targeted for attacks and this card gains 300 ATK. During each of your Standby Phases, gain 1000 Life Points and if you do, you may destroy 1 DARK monster your opponent controls.

Soul - α Siegfried

  • Monster (Level 6/LIGHT/Warrior/Fusion)
  • 2800/2300
  • "Soul - Siegfried" + "Soul Calibur"
  • During each of your Standby Phases, gain 1500 Life Points and if you do, you may destroy up to 2 DARK monsters your opponent controls.

More to come of course.

[up][up][up]If you look at "Cursed/Holy Sword's Heir" they specifically note cards rather than monsters to go around this. Fun fact: Regular Polymerisation/Super Poly etc. don't work on them because they require monsters.

Edited the post to make it clear that was actually intentional.

As far as the whole whilst equipped thing goes, I was already thinking of it but again, I wasn't sure how to implement it. Now I've just had the realisation how I can do that anyway and add something to the arche in the process.

Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon is a canon/official game example of requiring that the tribute be a monster that's equipped with a specific Equip Spell. Same with the anime version of Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.

Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney ********* Warrior

  • 3500 ATK/3500 DEF
  • This card may only be special summoned through the effect of “Turnabout.” If your life points are lower than your opponent’s, this monster has 5000 ATK and DEF Points. You may only have one “Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney” on the field at a time. This card’s name is treated as “Phoenix Wright - Defense Attorney.”

Turnabout (Spell)

  • If you have fewer than 2000 life points, you may tribute one “Phoenix Wright - Defense Attorney” to special summon “Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney” OR tribute one “Apollo Justice - Defense Attorney” to special summon “Apollo Justice - Ace Attorney.”

Cross Examination (Trap)

  • After your opponent completes an attack, draw one card for every three levels of the attacking monster. If the monster has fewer than three levels, draw one card. This card may only be used if you have a monster with “Attorney” in its name on the field.

Whelp, some more things that I wanted to do.

  • Meklord Guard
  • Trap, Normal
  • Target 1 "Meklord" monster you control, equip this card to it. While equipped with this card, once per turn that monster cannot be destroyed.
  • A glowing blue forcefield in the shape of a shield attached to a Meklord Army of Wisel's arm.

  • Meklord Attack
  • Trap, Normal
  • Target 1 "Meklord" monster you control, equip this card to it. While equipped with this card, that monster deals piercing damage.
  • Meklord Army of Skiel with a bigger cannon attached to it. The cannon is glowing and getting ready to fire.

  • Meklord Carrier
  • Trap, Normal
  • Target 1 "Meklord" monster you control, equip this card to it. While equipped with this card, that monster gains 500 ATK and DEF.
  • Meklord Army of Granel with rocket engines attached to it's "legs", blasting off. One can see a couple goblins being blasted by rocket's wake.

  • Meklord Top
  • Trap, Normal
  • Target 1 "Meklord" monster you control, equip this card to it. When the monster equipped with this card attacks another monster, negate the effects of the monster it battles with during the Damage Step.
  • Meklord Army of Skiel with several additional lenses on it's head.

  • Meklord Core Unit
  • Level 1
  • WATER, Machine/Effect
  • When this card is sent from the field to the graveyard, except by battle, you can add 1 "Meklord" card from your deck to your hand.
  • 0/0
  • A silver egg, with darker-silver lines etched into it's surface. Behind it the silhouettes of the three Meklord Emperors loom.

Ah, so I think I've finished with all the Meklord stuff!
