I dunno. I feel that bringing up the pacing is a very valid issue. Granted people (myself included) can get harsh about it but it's really hard to understate that this comic has been going on for seventeen years and we're still only now probably getting into the real home stretch. And when I say that I'm also discounting however many minicomics or backstory chapters there will inevitably be. It's nice that they have a story to tell and have put an obvious amount of effort into it, having said that pointing out that a comic that is so relatively slow moving in comparison to a lot of others maybe shouldn't be doing things like this isn't unfair. At least in my opinion.
Granted, if Salgar was here at some point, it's been long enough that most of us aren't even sure where and when he said stuff in this thread.
I was okay with the award ceremony, as oddly placed as it was before the conclusion of the tournament. But sheesh this is just stalling.
And worse is that this is still the main artist right? The main point of the specials is to give him time to draw up a backlog so the story can keep trucking on.
#IceBearForPresidentAh, finally.
You and I agree on that XXI. Also, nice eternal dragon design.

If XXI already has a wish-granting dragon I'm really curious why he wants the wish winners of the tournament get. They're versions of the Namekian Dragonballs right? It's not like the Black Star or Super Dragonballs where they lack limitations
Can't XXI just use the same time dilation trick he used against Vegito? Vegito was there for only a few seconds and he still emerged hours later. Even if Goku immediately realized something happened, he still would be back way after his match ended.
Maybe his dragon balls have some stipulations. We have seen him ask them for knowledge and possibly that shut down remote. But, nothing too crazy.

I think by now Goku has seen and is wise to that trick, so the second XXI touches the ground Goku is going to attack him.
We saw Buu do the same. Goku and Vegeta moved so fast in their Hyper state that most of the fight happened before anyone could see they'd moved.

re: Why does XXI want wishes. Alongside what Freshwater mentioned, it seems that this might also just be a set of low-powered but fast recharge balls. Assuming that there's no temporal shenanigans going on the set that XXI has seems to be ready to use again within hours. Way shorter than any other set. So it could be that this set is meant for more mundane stuff like getting a question answered or getting something very specific like the remote.
x2
Buu did try to attack XXI as soon as possible, but he still got hit by the Buu sealing chant.
It feels like a tough scenario to write. If Goku is so much faster than XXI (that the latter can't even get a spell out), then it seems like it's not going to be much of a fight. On the flipside, if XXI can get a single teleport/sealing/time spell out than it also doesn't seem like much of a fight.
I am curious how they are going to choreograph the fight.
I think XXI specifically set it off before the match started. Plus the chant... doesn't have any canonical requirements beyond Babidi needing to say it. With Goku he doesn't have a spell to set off right away... unless the dimension thing can be set off prematurely but he seemed to only launch that after the fight started.
I don't really know what'll happen.
This is why I've been reading more Korean Webcomics.
They at least keep moving forward and have more then one page at a time. XD
Watch SymphogearHe's not wrong.
Also, I have to admit: I love that it's the man in the chicken suit who's acting brave.
One Strip! One Strip!Man in a chicken suit, you say?

Watch Symphogear

....I'm not mad. I just want to get back to the actual story.
It'd be nice.
Also, lets remember that at one point, the author of this comic was part of Tv Tropes and even posted in this thread.
That was a long time ago, but I can't help but feel that maybe some of the more negative comments (some of which might have come from me when I forgot that detail) might have made them leave.
