Someone on Siliconera pointed out that the Egyptian-ish girl not only reminds them of Lotus, but also Nicki Minaj
Now I can't unsee it.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadForget unseeing it, I can't unhear it. The sad thing is, I can picture Clover as being the sort of person who'd have Super Bass or similar on her iPod.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaOkay, for some reason, I keep seeing the number 9 everywhere.
EVERYWHERE. (Example: I was playing DBZ Supersonic Warriors 2, and I won my fight when the clock hit 999.)
And for some odd reason, I keep finding parallels between myself and June. (Example: The digital root of the numbers in my birthday is 6, I had a brief cold/fever a few days ago, the other day I got to work six minutes early, etc.)
So, while I was at work last night, I started getting creeped out all of a sudden, because I thought someone else was nearby, trying to stab me in my back. ._.
Did I mention that I've frequently been having dreams about the Nonary Game?
What has this game done to me!? @_@

Does anyone know where you can get ingames pics of the characters? (NOT SCENE shots, or at least that's not what I'm looking for). There's a couple that I really wanted to relook at without playing the game again.

Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadI stand by what I said when I first did the Safe route: Scary Ace is scary.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI respectfully disagree. Scary!Clover is merely scary because she's mad with grief, and thus pitiable. Scary!Ace is just a murderous bastard.

This. Scary Ace is much scarier than scary Clover
Incidentally, I had a dream last night I was playing a variant of the Nonary Game in some sort of hotel building. Seven and Lotus were with me, but all the other people were new. And I think I was vaguely aware of the fact that our watches were phonies and only one or two people had real bombs in them, but somehow the others wouldn't believe me or something? And I think somebody did blow up, but I can't remember who. And instead of Jeep in the desert, we escaped by helicopter.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaSome of them, but are there more?
Small irony I just realized: Scary!Ace wouldn't actually have any idea how scary he looks.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaNot yet. Give 'em time.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~Madrugadatimes like this that I'm glad that my backlog is still hefty. I still don't have a 3DS or Vita.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadJust finished this.
Pretty cool. Definitely gave Ever 17 vibes.
I didn't like how many puzzles there were. I felt it detracted from the story itself, which should've been the main focus. A bit short, the only thing that extended game time was that you had to redo all the puzzles and go through all the text again.
Other than that, pretty cool VN.
I don't think I would have liked the game so much without all the puzzles. Then it would just be a choose-your-own adventure with anime-style illustrations, and I'd probably pass on something like that without other things to entertain me.

I creamed all over the place.
Edit: After I cleaned it up, I watched the trailer.
I am now out of tissues.
