Agreed. But this has been really Bad Ass, Even if Nixis is definitely overkill and Sarath probably is [I was typing it before ?????? posted his].
Sarath needs an awesome line for this to Nixis, but I have exhausted my own levels of awesomeness already.

You mean 2-on-1. It's only Sarath and Nixis on that archer. The first one retreated for distance, and Rein followed him. I suppose that Sarath jumped for the one that's still around, and Nixis followed. Unless i misunderstood something.
Paradox - Illogical logical contrast of existence end /beginning Antipode - Red flower, blue flower: contrast of elements, full bloomOkay recap:
Sarath- Active. Support potential with Alexander, Harold and Carlos. Possibly with Nixis as well.
Harold- Missing for 2 days. Sort of the messed up Lancer. Potential Supports: Lydia, Selene, Alan, Sarath.
Alan- Active. Support potential with Harold, Selene and Lydia.
Lydia- Active. Support with Alan, Harold, Nixis and Selene.
Selene- Active. Support Potential with Rein, Alan, Harold and Selene.
Rien- Active. Support Potential with Selene. Too shy to guess more.
Carlos- Missing for 4 days. Support Potential with Spartan and Sarath.
Spartan- Missing for 2 days. Support Potential with Carlos and Sarath.
Nixis- Active. Support Potential with Lydia. Maybe Sarath and Rien.
Alexander- DM's character. Potential support with Sarath.
- Okay, that's the recap of activity. I kind of wanted to tally everyone in the party and their relationships since we're kind of splitting into subgroups now and it's gotten a bit confusing.

Even if the archer had managed to hit Selene, I'm pretty sure it would just have counted as an automatic critical hit, which probably wouldn't have been quite enough to kill her. Also, it's excellent to know that someone is keeping tabs on all of the different relationships of the characters, but I really don't think that anything should be written in stone yet.
Aye, I just thought it was kind of interesting how we've already developed the same kind of mangled support web that's relatively standard in FE games and drove me crazy.
PS: In the process of rolling this one myself, using the most accurate way of transferring our current stats to the system that I can think of.
PPS: While the roll missed, I've just realized that if the bandits are using anything stronger than Bronze [I assumed they were using Bronze, being grunts and all], Sarath would be screwed on the 50% chance that it hits under my system. End of his mission, I'm putting a point into HP and Def.

The only reason I haven't been rolling for attacks was because I thought that our stats system was only supposed to give us an idea of how battles were supposed to play out. Also, since everybody seems to be responsible for their own character's dodge rolls, I kind of just let every attack against the bandits be a hit to keep this battle from dragging out for too long.
Well, with character's based around dodging there has to be some kind of balance to it. Higher skill can't mean that you dodge every attack because that's sort of Godmodding, so we're all working on ways to compensate.
I personally just use the old equations, while translating our current stat system values. E=2, D=4, C=6, etc.
It's a pain the first time, but now that I've got the hang of it, it's not too bad. The main problem is that it makes most of our characters adhere to the Anyone Can Die policy of Fire Emblem, minus the Save Scumming. [Which could probably be solved by further nerfing mooks]

^^ He probably has some type of strap or something that keeps it attached to his back. He can't just carry it with him everywhere, after all.
^ The plot is currently on its way, and should arrive shortly, but I want to give everyone a chance to develop their characters a bit first. If anybody is interested in hearing what I've been planning or has ideas on how I should introduce it, you're welcome to pm me. Also, there should be a new character arriving soon, and I don't want him to be too lost.

Should the GM decide the critical hits, or should the players?
And on the subject of skills, then i definitely got the critical chance one.
