So where is Kurt at the moment? I was thinking now might be a good idea to introduce some of the other senators.

It's a plot! ...Quite a well written one too.

My problem is that, as an equal player of this RP you cannot simply say Kurt is just that good and he knows this and this because of that.

As a writer and maybe as a GM you have the freedom to do so, but as a player you have to actually do the stuff or at least have a good reason of how or why he can do what you said he does.

There has been a detail about Kurt you have been overlooking. His maids.

Those are Ninja Maid types.

Essentially, when not serving him, they act as spies. I plan on having a few of them watching the Davion boss battle, and the escapees mentioning Kurt's family crest on the uniform of the agents who helped them escape.

?????, Kurt is currently in a little villa of his, able to meet with any fellow plotters and schemers.

So infinite army of ninja maids which we have no way of tracking/stopping? Which happen to know where all the action is and are never detected or mentioned?

Hardly fair ground.

Random, I have the posted up a potential villain guy. I await approval/suggestions/instructions.

Faux, here's a tip: Do it better. Give your mage um... One wing, a dragon pet and the Necronomicon or someshit.

Nick, you do realize that nearly every noble in Begnion has a few agents stationed in Sienne? And I doubt they'd exactly play nice on the occasion that two of them should run into each other.

Oh yeah, I do now. Thanks for the tip, Random.

Sorry Nick, but those servants already have a darker purpose.

I didn't want to reveal it like this, but the three of them report to the Empress.

God Modding is lame, Nick. Lame.

Well it wasn't so much God Modding as just that he thought those servants didn't have a purpose so he could use them.

Still, they have.

alright, fine, editing it away. That is what editing is for.

On other sites, god-modding is sometimes defined as taking control of a character whom another player is already in control of. But whatever. Anyway, I created those two new senators I promised. I think we have seven now?

alright, that has been noted. All I wanted was to show him gathering the information rather than just knowing about it somehow.

randomtropeloser Since: Jan, 2001

That's fine, but why does he need to know it at all anyway? All of the Begnion senate is involved in an information war at some level, but they don't just know about everything with such ease. The easiest way he could learn of what happened would be to contact Black Fang and see what he could find out, but he seems to sort of hate them, so there's no telling how that would turn out.

Kinda sorta, but it is Kurt, so he may well be lying about his motivations and desires.

One thing you should know about him: when he says something, assume its a lie.

[up] Doesn't help IC knowledge, or lack thereof.

Hmm, it seems like everyone is already having their nobles find out about the group. Now I feel rather bad about not letting Nick do it.

I was trying to make it clear that Sir Plusse DOESN'T know about them... or rather, that his information is so vague and out-of-date that it's pretty much useless.

Incidentally, I was operating under the assumption that the Empress wouldn't like people snooping into her affairs, and even if he got away with that the spy would have to deal with, like, fifty others who want EXCLUSIVE access to that information.

Well, there you go. I'll try and figure out a way to introduce Hargrave soon. Now let's see, do I have any other random characters from earlier in the story I can introduce?

don't worry, Kurt is just working his way around it, setting up rumors and word around their mansion that Davion has taken over a little trade village.

If everything goes as planned, then, well, Kurt gets a lot of friends.

If everything does not go as planned, then Kurt comes up with something else.

If some part of it goes as planned and another part does not go as planned, Kurt works the part that did not go as planned into his next scheme.

Anyone want to play Tara? I've no interest in the style she is supposed to be R Pd in, so blegh.

By style, do you mean a backstabbing conniving overlord? Because that's not strictly necessary, she can just be interested in defending her people.

Heh. Just caught the return. Kenton's from way back at the first battle of this RP, right? The bandit who scammed Nixis way back when?

Chekhov's Gunman, much? I'd pretty much forgotten about him.

Nah, random. I mean a person in really high standing (AKA importance) left to do whatever. I'm not fond of making up my own stuff for plots like that when there's already a GM.

Either way, whether this reason suffices or not, I really, REALLY could not care less about her. Well... I love all of my creations, but this one doesn't seem to fit my bill and was made on a spur of the moment.
