Gotcha Force. I swear, I'm going to start posting Gotcha Force in every single video game thread on this forum. An amazing multiplayer game, especially if they own their own copy of the game to unlock their own borgs. Seriously, one of the most fun multiplayer games I've ever played. Shame it lacks online.
"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValYup, I agree. A battle in which you duke it out with your favorite borgs is just fantastic.
I can't play Vs. Gotcha Force very much because the only friend who plays it doesn't like versus modes, preferring co-op.
You do have to ban certain borgs, though. Fucking Samurai Shogun...
This is just a random side note (which you probably don't care about), but I'm going to play Gotcah Force in my dorms. There's a big TV on the second floor where people often play games (and watch people play games). Hopefully I can fight some more people then...

One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderLike someone else in this thread, I had the lack of foresight to buy Brutal Legend for PS 3. I have played precisely one match, which I ended up having to quit because the lag was unbearable.
In a half-example: Maybe I'd suck less at Dawn of War 2 if the matchmaking system wasn't completely broken and I wasn't being put in with players thirty levels higher than me!
Samurai Shogun is broken? G Black/Neo G Red/G Red/Death Borg Sigma II/Beam Gunner say hi. Spam air dodges and Shogun can't touch you. The others I mentioned are unholy for their points cost.
Good luck on your endeavour to spread the Gotcha Force love. Will doing something similar when I head off to uni next year.
"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValWorld in Conflict. It's actually not that difficult to find a game online - as a matter of fact, there's always two or three servers guaranteed to be chock full of players. Problem is though, they're all on the Space Needle map and happen to be populated by a bunch of stop having fun guys who belong to the same two clans. Worse yet, they are far beyond most others in experience, leading to most newbs getting dragged into their games only to get horribly beaten and yelled at.
Then there's the Shockwave mod for C&C Generals, or Generals itself for that matter. GR.org is the only place to reliably find a game for it today, but sadly not for the mod.
@Sgt Ricko: I think you can find Shockwave on ModDB.
@Shlapintogan:...Why did they think that was a good idea at all?
^Then again, Borderlands initially had a similar problem...

This is kinda kicking it old school, but I wouldn't mind playing Warcraft II sometime.
Also, I wouldn't mind meeting up with people for rounds of Super Mario Kart, Super Bomberman, and Pocky and Rocky.
visit my blog!Monster Hunter with friends, instead of random people online. Although if I played more online I could get into an online group so it's my fault too.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadHeck, any non-internet DS games.
I live in such a small town that even the people that do have a DS don't have the same games I do...
"The world ends with you. If you want to enjoy life, expand your world. You gotta push your horizons out as far as they'll go."Ooh, Dragon Quest IX is another one too. Such a cool idea they had, but I don't know anyone outside of the internet that owns the game.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadI have to say I felt like I've taken for granted being able to play a slew of multiplayer games with my brothers while growing up, to the point where I really, really prefer co-op games over competitive ones. Of the games we played: Contra, Secret Of Mana, Legend Of Mana, Sonic The Hedgehog, Mario Party, Phantasy Star Online,, Pokemon, Gotcha Force (which I loved so much that I brought it back with me after visiting them last year; it was also the only game besides some Mario Kart titles where we actively fought against each other), Four Swords Adventures and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (which essentially made us the only ones who actively liked both of those games, since we spent more time collaborating than fighting against each other).
Nowadays, I can't really play multiplayer with anybody. Hell, I tried to play Streets Of Rage online a while back and the other guy was more insistent on beating me up than playing the game. I've recently tried playing Castlevania Harmony Of Despair (well, recent being when it came out), but stopped because I find single-player boring (mostly the grinding) and I have only met douches in online play.
Dragon Quest IX and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep are the only other ones I managed to co-op with in recent times (albeit only once with the former and three times with the latter). It's hard for me to find anyone else that actively plays the same kind of games I do too...

Phantasy Star Online. Surprise surprise.
