Hah, I remember snickering at that line too. Though it kinda makes sense; there are other ways to have M/M sex, anal is just one.

Made Of Meat has seen this too: "Oh, the wikipedia article about Hogg. How I've missed you."

Warning, this is an article that both Made Of Meat and I know, so, tread with caution.

My mom once said, slightly proudly, "My daughter reads horrible things."

I haven't read Hogg, but I have read a cleaner book by the same author  *

. Not to mention Chuck Palahniuk.

The funniest part, I think, is that Delany is a respected literati, so it's all "deconstruction" this and "social commentary" that.

So this seems like a standard arrogant picture collage thing... then you see the note on the bottom of it.

We've entered an endless recursion of copyright!

The Three Wolf Moon shirt actually has its own wikipedia article? I find this strangely awesome.

Because I am bored, I am conducting a little experiment. I'm trying to determine which dirty articles merit images (ejaculation), which don't (orgasm), and why (patriarchy!). Strange system they've got going on there.

This also helps me find pictures to filter and block forevermore. Would also work for shock images if wikipedia weren't run by joyless cowards.

Why Won't My Parakeet Eat My Diarrhea? is an internet meme that initially appeared on Yahoo Answers,[1] but attracted widespread attention on November 11, 2009, when it briefly became the number-one search on Google Trends. Prior to this, whenever a user entered the words "why won't" into Google, the unusual phrase appeared at the top of Google Suggest's list of suggested search terms; this caused it to attract attention from the popular website Fail Blog.[2][3][4] It has since inspired at least one video parody on You Tube.[5]

The meme also drew comparison to another Google Suggest anomaly which was discovered at roughly the same time: "Why is there a dead Pakistani on my couch?" (a quote from the Lost episode Because You Left).[6] Another incident in which users who searched for "White people stole my car" were allegedly encouraged to search instead for "Black people stole my car" drew accusations of racism.[7] However, the Google screenshot responsible for the latter accusation may have been a hoax.[8]

The absurdity of the question stems from the fact that, because the typical parakeet diet consists primarily of nuts, fruits[9] and seeds, it is unlikely that any pet parakeet would actually eat its owner's diarrhea, even if given the chance.[10] In fact, coprophagy of any kind has rarely been observed in birds at all, although White-winged Crossbills have been known to consume river otter feces. [11] Also, captive pigeons have been observed eating pigeon feces, and this behavior is likely normal.[12] Parakeets themselves have been observed consuming their own feces on occasion.[13]

Suggestions on Google Suggest are based on searches that live Google users have made in the past. [14] However, Google has stated that they “try to filter out suggestions that include pornographic terms, dirty words, and hate and violence terms. If you encounter a term that should not be suggested, please let us know."[15] [edit] See also
