Cheap records:
Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party
Madonna - Madonna
Styx - The Grand Illusion
Oingo Boingo was the one I was particularly excited about, and the other two were impulse buys. My minimum requirements for purchasing cheap records that I haven't already heard are either 1) it has an interesting or So Bad, It's Good cover or title or 2) it has at least one song I already know I like. The Madonna has four (even though I'm not much of a fan of hers overall) and the Styx has one ("Come Sail Away").

Ockham's Razor - Wolves in the Walls
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NOThe first two Volcano Suns (a Post-Punk / Post-Hardcore band formed by one of the members of Mission Of Burma) and the remaster of Munki by The Jesus And Mary Chain. Good stuff. Will probly buy the deluxe edition of Spiderland by Slint later this week...
Downloaded the entire discography of the obscure 80's Dada pop collective Steaming Coils, uploaded long ago with Brad Laner's blessing. 'Tis good.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Seriously thinking about those Blur remasters, and maybe the Ocean Colour Scene ones as well... In a bit of Brit Pop mood as of late...

Squeeze? Isn't that one super out-of-print because everyone besides Doug Yule would rather pretend it never happened?
Anyway:
- Alex Torres y Su Orquestra: Elementos, Entre Amigos, 25 to Life
- Pet Shop Boys: Alternative
- One Wolf: One Wolf II: Secret of the Wolf
- X: Los Angeles
- Various: Cowabunga: The Surf Box
Pixies - Surfer Rosa and Johnny Cash - American Recordings. I totally had the Pixies album already, but this was a dirt cheap thrift store copy that was in better condition than my old one (and still had the case).
I recently got The Notorious Byrd Brothers. As far as I know, this is the greatest Psychedelic Country album ever released.
Edit: I didn't actually expect that psychedelic country was a real thing. According to this
list, it is.

The first two albums by Men At Work, original CD releases, printed in Austria. Used the original masters, sound delicious.
Just downloaded:
- The Statler Brothers: "The Class of '57"
- Gorillaz: "Feel Good Inc."
I believe that is the very definition of musical whiplash...
The three 80s King Crimson albums (Discipline, Beat and Three Of A Perfect Pair) remastered. Probly gonna go get Heritage and Pale Communion by Opeth sometime in the next few days- Pale Communion just came out today, to boot, and has good reviews...
And I now have the newest Opeth (Pale Communion, for those of you who didn't know). A day early. Being on a First-Name Basis with the owners of the local record store'll do that. I didn't even hafta beg or anything, I just asked and they gave it to me...
Beach House - Bloom
Thanks to whoever posted Lazuli on the "Rate the song above you" thread, their music is truly beautiful. Perhaps the only current act I know that comes even close to rivaling the Cocteau Twins on their own turf, something I previously thought impossible. Now after a few months of listening on youtube I finally came across the album at a local shop. Looking forward to sit down and really listen to this thing.

You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here.

Elvis Costello - My Aim Is True
Man Or Astro Man - Defcon 5...4...3...2...1
Talking Heads - Remain in Light
The Velvet Underground - Loaded
