I'm thinking of Batman now.

Well, that was definitely more than a comic.

Holy crap, Randall has too much time on his hands.

I've tried looking at an actual timeline for Primer. I didn't try for long though.

I wonder how long this took him. Longer than any of his maps, I'd bet.

I once tried that for Lot R. I gave up after two hours and Book 1 of Fot R. My awe of Randall currently knows no bounds.

I salute Randall for this herculean effort.

I had a plan for a similar graph for Irregular Webcomic the other month.

Someone should do this for Legend Of Galactic Heroes.

Welcome to 2004, Randall Munroe.
He started this comic in 2004. He worked backwards and after an afternoon he had most of it done. He spends a couple days working on Star Wars, then a friend suggests he uses LOTR. Randell finished it just before publishing the comic.

One of those graphs would be hilarious for the Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy series.

So, who else really liked this one? I think it's been a while since Randall did something like it.

Romance? No.
Sarcasm? No.
Math? It didn't particularly look like it.
Language? I wouldn't say so.

It seemed more a philosophical point than anything he advertizes himself to be... which is not necessarily a bad thing. >_>

Yeah, not too funny, but it's sorta interesting.

It's interesting when you read it the right way: His philosophy has inspired her to be an organ donor.

You can make it funny by turning it inside out and imagining that she's fed up with his constant philosophy and signing him up as an organ donor. Funny to me, anyway.

Also, is her hairstyle inspired by the XKDC Sucks's constant bitching about how Randall can only draw one type of woman.

#972: Nov 7th 2009 at 3:29:37 AM

He's drawn that type of hair before.

That was actually the first thing I thought of when I read the strip. Does it make me a bad person?

Regarding xkcdsucks: seriously, they're complaining about the hairstyles of a stick figure webcomic? Can I have some of whatever they're smoking?

You can probably find it on your front lawn.

Now, on the other hand, if they were laughing over the hairstyles in a stick-figure comic, you'd probably need to find yourself a dealer.
