Meet the Tropers: newbie thread/introductions.

I’ve bumped into this site a couple of years ago, and just a week or so ago do I get the idea of actually posting and editing things. I just add things if I think they need them.

Hi, I'm the0dragon, nice to meet you. I'm a Letters student from Brazil , who's been in this site for a few weeks, and until now it looks very good. I like stories, imagination, writing...Those kind of things get my attention in media, I want to become a writer and a teacher in the future, so I'm seeking to learn more. I play videogames, read books and watch movies/anime in my free time. Honestly, I'm a person with a lot of flaws: I'm shy, introvert, I can't be around a lot of people, I lack courage to do things I want and express myself, I'm usually in my bedroom most of the time, I have problems holding a conversation, I fear committing mistakes, hurting people and being alone. I'm trying to improve myself, that's why I entered the forums, with hope that I could find people similar to me and maybe getting better with people's relations in real life. Sorry if I sounded depressed there, I'll do my best to always be kind and polite to anyone in the forums. I really like batman, persona 5, Dragonforce and art. Thank you for reading.

So I'm gc10, from Italy, and I've been hanging here around already since february, contributing here and there about the most disparate topics, from literature and movies to videogames. Right now I've been playing a lot with Mortal Kombat, Oblivion and Doom.

I didn't really look at this thread nor was fully aware of it.

Let me introduce myself:

I am Andrei Bondoc. Animal lover, LEGO collector, a person who likes watching cartoons, playing games, reading and other stuff and a sincere, honest and nice person. Even though I can be a bit smug, I do apologize at the end.

Anyway, I joined TV Tropes because it's a very entertaining place and because I want to contribute to something positive. Since this January I've been a troper.

I realize that I have much to learn, but I'm willing to learn anything that is useful for me. And when I'm commited to learn, I learn fast enough.

Nice to meet you. I'm IúkaSylvie, a 16-year-old Japanese girl with autism and intellectual disability. My favorite stories are The Beast Player, Moribito, Tweeny Witches, and Jinzō Konchū Kabuto Borg VxV. I've been around here since a long time ago, contributing to the Complete Monster, Hate Sink, and The Woobie cleanup threads. I've developed a new crush on Kai Chisaki/Overhaul from My Hero Academia, much to my bewilderment not only because he's quite a nasty villain but also because I admired the first sight of his Shirtless Scene rather than feeling nothing about or repulsed by it as usual.

Hi everybody! My name is Hannah, I am 15, and I have been falling down rabbit holes on this site for a few months now. I finally decided to get an account and I am so excited to help curate the wiki! Fandom (being a fan, not the wiki) is a big part of my life. I even did a TE Dx talk on fandom! (Sorry, no link, my account is too new.) I am first and foremost a Harry Potter fan but I have branched out to Marvel comics and movies. I just started watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Netflix and have started watching Scrubs as well. Nicktoons are another thing I love, my favourite being being The Fairly Oddparents. I am so glad I joined TV Tropes and I am super excited to work with the tropers!

hi, i'm new! my name's awe famsquad, named after a character i made. actual name is yoshiya, i'm japanese but i live in brazil. do i even qualify as a japanese anymore? (i forgot most of my japanese. can't even write hiragana or katakana, but i can speak it). i'm a videogame nerd, i love videogames and playing them, and also reading webcomics whenever i feel like it. i like jojo and my hero academia. i loved videogames so much that i decided i wanted to be a videogame developer. you know those people who make everything by themselves, ala cave story. its a life goal, but right now i'm here, fiddling with RPG Maker 2003 and learning the ropes with composing. i'm already pretty decent with art, so theres that. i also roleplay.

Names Seannie, I prefer to be called 'Sean' or just 'Sea'. I'm a girl, and I live in the Philippines, so English is not my first language, but I'm working on it. I'm actually here since May, but then I forgot about my account's existence—

I'm an ambivert, I can be social and talkative, but at the same time, quiet and in a need for alone time. I like reading and watching movies... that is not horror... and casual games. I'm more of a laid back person that likes laid back things in general.

I've been actually on the website for a little while, but never get to make an account until... a few months ago. Anyways, I'm ready to edit more tropes and... check out what is going on. I'm still trying to get used to the formatting I'm not used to—

Hi, I'm GoldenCityBird, but I'll accept GCB for short. I've been on the site for a while, and I've only just found this thread.

I like a lot of things, but I'm really passionate about webcomics, especially page-based ones like The Glass Scientists and Lackadaisy. Aside from those, I'm a fan of Magic: The Gathering, Hitman and Danganronpa.

I love this site, and I hope I can contribute to it as much as I can.

Hey, guys! Been watching for almost a year, and I waited until I had a good grasp of how this site worked and what the rules were before finally jumping in! I especially paid close attention to the suspension thread, just to see for myself what kind of behaviour is and isn't considered acceptable. Aside from my own page, I've only made one small edit so far. Here's to hoping this all works out!

I've been using TV Tropes for a while as a secondary and tertiary source. I'm an artistic administrator by trade, and an academic hobbyist, as well as an aspiring writer, so I use this wiki for a multitude of purposes. Hopefully I can add something of value here.

So I'm not completely new. I posted back when I was in high school in 2011-2012, but I was a completely different person then and I'm sure the forum's changed a lot.

I'm from Jackson, Mississippi and I stumbled onto TV Tropes as a teenager. I was amazed to find a website that put my thoughts on fiction into words, and I've been hooked ever since. I have a BA in Dramatic Writing, which means I work at a pizza place and write scripts and stories in my spare time. As far as media goes, I enjoy most cartoons and sitcoms, and recently got done binging Breaking Bad. My favorite show of all time is probably Community, but at the moment I'm on a Spongebob and Veggie Tales kick. (I had a relatively fun childhood so revisiting media from it calms me down when I'm anxious)

Something of a mid-twenties crisis hit me and as part of that I'm looking up my old posts on reddit and all the different websites I've posted on. I used to browse forums like this all the time, but social media gradually replaced that over time. While I've read TV Tropes consistently through all that time, I haven't made a forum post since I was a dumbass 17-year-old.

I'd like to get to know people in an internet community again, and lovers of fiction seems like a good place to start.

I'm Ten Of Swords 13, abbreviate how you will. I'm a teenager who enjoys puzzles and stories, with some of my favourite works (Danganronpa and ZeroEscape, among others)) being heavily puzzle and story-based.

I am a guy, straight, have a mind with the processing speed of a brick, and am easily distracted, but I won't let those last two things stop me from trying to be a part of this community.

Also, since I never introduced myself and never really active until just three months ago, I think I should introduce myself too as I never did it.

So, I first found T Vtropes in 2015. After that, I browsed the site, before deciding to make an account in late 2017. However, I didn't use the forum much until June of this year, when I found Hunger Games Simulator: Beyond The Possibilities thread (yeah, it's a far later date than when I first started briefly in Forum Games back then in November 2017). I got interested in it, and this made me active in the T Vtropes Forum. By the way, I am a guy who likes stuffs. Though for works, I'd say I love Spongebob, Jojo, Touhou, etc.
