Ahoy chappies, I be alexanderthegreat.
Big fan of classic pulp literature: Howard, Smith, Lovecraft, Burroughs, Merritt, Conan Doyle, Wagner, Brackett and the like. Also dinosaurs. I basically came to the site to fiddle about with some things regarding Robert E. Howard, being a huge fan of his. Hopefully I don't get kicked out, and can make some decent additions to the site.
Yay, Alexander The Great! someone to help add Lit examples! Especially the pulp-lit examples. Edit away, my man — there are far too few of us doing that. Cosmic Horror Story, for one, desperately needs attention.

It's great having someone to look after that more neglected part of the site! But..."alexanderthegreat" is a bit too much. Need to shorten it. "Alex the G"?
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."Hi, I'm megatron. I edit the wiki once in a while but I haven't really participated in these forums. I'm fifteen and from the Big Applesauce, and somewhat of an example of the Dark Skinned Redhead trope, although my hair looks more purple to some and has faded at this point. Since I have the attention span of a newborn goldfish on methamphetamines, I will probably stop posting here after a few days. Works that I've liked include all films by Kevin Smith (except Dogma and Jersey Girl, both of which I was unable to finish watching), roguelikes, Welcome to the NHK!, and many others. My brother's knowledge of Hannah Montana/other tween-sitcoms has magically diffused into me, unfortunately.
I'm not a zombie, but no promises on the exploding without pretense thing.

Hey, an editor! Maybe my boilerplate introduction will be of use to her.
Hi, megatron. If you're looking for the constructive forums, Sandbox, Tech Wishlist, Translations, Trope Repair Shop, Trope Talk, Wiki Talk, and Writer's Block are your best bet. Everything else is goof-off territory. Have fun.
Erm, hi. I'm sorry I didn't know about this thread (although I should've guessed we'd have one like this) before I started posting.
My username is a play on the term "Guest Of Honour", as I used the name Guest for quite a while as an Unknown Troper. I didn't actually realise the initials spelt out "GOD" (all the more ironic since I'm an atheist) until a while after I joined up here.
I've been lurking around the site from about since the beginning of 2008 (wait, wasn't that when The Great Crash occurred?). I'm also not that good at typing in the sense of the getting all the words together aspect.
Cu braţele armate, cu focul vostru-n vine, "Viaţă-n libertate ori moarte" strigă toţi.You won't go IPv6 on us, will you, GOD?

Hello, new people. Are any of you zombies or have a habit of exploding without pretense?
