(Mod edit to add a courtesy link to El Goonish Shive.)
Yay! Its back again! I stagger my reading of it to Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday cause there aren't enough good webcomics on those days, so I am not the best person to lead a real time discussion, but it really needs a thread. So in Monday's we see the mysterious return of the dark figure. (linky)
Who is starting to sound really, really desperate.
Also, is it just the art upgrade, or does Ellen's green ray seem more... jeeze, what is a same word to use? Powerful? More powerful then usual?

And on this day we send forth out prayers to Daniel Shive, artist, student, and avid transformation fetishist with a heart of gold. This poor naive man was taken before his time t the hands of a manic fangirl. Though his end was gruesome, the point was made and proven, if not just. As we gather here to lay his remains to rest we can only say "You should've gotten an editor."
The Blog The ArtDemonstrate what? Why Death of the Author is bullshit, why it's true, or the concept?
Read my stories! The Ambiguous Gender page says that Sheik is clearly a she in Super Smash Bros: Brawl.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Why the hell did Shive open up that argument? Did he really felt it necessary to take time away from his comic to open up this can of worms?
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I do get the feeling that this whole arc is really just Filler, and Shive is using it to explain his own philosophy on things, but rather than doing it directly, he's doing it through his characters.
I don't mind filler being made so you can sort out your own ideas for the next part of the story, but I think it would be better if he didn't have it done with characters and stated his opinions as himself.

Shive apparently believes in Death of the Author.
AHR, want to help demonstrate that?
