Yay! Its back again! I stagger my reading of it to Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday cause there aren't enough good webcomics on those days, so I am not the best person to lead a real time discussion, but it really needs a thread. So in Monday's we see the mysterious return of the dark figure. (linky)
Who is starting to sound really, really desperate.
Also, is it just the art upgrade, or does Ellen's green ray seem more... jeeze, what is a same word to use? Powerful? More powerful then usual?

Obvious lampshading is obvious, but it is better than a bare bulb.
Also, what Nanase said is not entirely true. Plenty of dojos can give you a boost in beltage if you come from another karate school. It's happened to me once, and I've seen it happen to some other people as well in two entirely different schools.
New User HandleYeah, but I doubt they'd take you very seriously if you told your former dojo was of "Anime Style Martial Arts." Hell, if the master happens to be internet savvy they might ask if you know Plot no Jutsu as well.

Sonic hates SOPAYou don't ask, you show. Trust me, it's usually quite obvious (assuming the person is an actual black belt, and not from a mcdojo) when someone is from another karate school.
New User HandleThe fact that I'm the one keeping us updated is a fact I find most saddening
Nothing too wrong here, although the ease at which psychology comes to them is a bit odd, but I'd probably complain if it took them too long either.
Although, the whole love interest thing, Justin really needs to learn to get over him. It's never gonna happen, stop being a stag fag Justin!
Sorry, couldn't resist the rhyming scheme.
Stop being a stagnant character Justin!
New User HandleUm... something I just thought about.
Does Elliot know about Justin's crush on him yet?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987I think he does on some level notice it, but doesn't pay mind to it, or atleast doesn't seem to. Though Justin should really got over having a crush on a straight guy by now.
On the other hand, it just might be the fact that if Elliot doesn't join a new dojo with him, that's one less friend he regularly spends time with.
Sonic hates SOPAIt's like a completely one-way love decahedron.
Michelle has crush on Justin, who is gay and thus has no feelings for her, but who does have feelings for Elliot, who is straight and thus also doesn't feel the same way, but who once dated Nanase, who didn't know / was in denial over being lesbian at the time, and as such didn't feel the same but pretended she did, and who is now going out with a bisexual female clone of Elliot, who also for a time (and may still, you never know) had some residual feelings for Sarah, Elliot's current girlfriend.
Oh, and Susan possibly has a thing for Justin who, as noted, is gay and thus can't reciprocate, though the prospect of Susan punching Michelle in the face is very tempting.

Edit: Wait, I meant there's a trope for that.

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.Looking back at what Noah said
, does this fit the Friends with Benefits trope?
I doubt Elliot and Justin are having sex, much to the displeasure of Ho Yay shippers... So no.
Sonic hates SOPAAh, yes, I forgot how Noah fits into the LoveDodecahedron
◊. Man, that thing's getting biiiiig. All we need is a Paolo or two and things'll really get hilarious. Though I still have no popcorn.
...Noah is a femme physical version of Sanji, apparently.
Also, here's an idea, invite him over to hang out. That's what friends do ya moron!
New User HandleAHR, Noah is a guy.
Anyhow, it would be awkward for Elliot, I think. For one, he has a crush on Elliot, inviting them over out of the blue would be kinda odd...
Sonic hates SOPAI know. I mean feminine, Kuro fox.
And I don't think Elliot knows. He seems to be fine having karate classes with him. Why not invite him to play videogames or see a movie? Obviously Justin will find it awkward, but this is from Elliot's perspective.

New User HandleI think elliot on some level acknowledges Justin's feelings. Maybe just on a small scale and not anything deeper than wondering if he is attracted to him. Thus calling him over could be awkward in a "hey, I invited this guy over who might think I'm hot."
EDIT: And yes, I know Justin's crush is cos Elliot saved him from bullies back in school. Unless I have critical memory failure here..

Sonic hates SOPAUhm...no? It has never been canonly stated that Elliot had ANY idea of such a thing. It's all WMG else wise.
New User HandleTrue that it has not been stated... But do all things that characters know or think need to be clearly stated? Think how nonexistant The Reveal trope would be!
But yyeah, I'm probobly thinking Elliot might have seen some hints, nothing much else.
Sonic hates SOPAWe can't assume he knows anything. And even if he did, it obviously does not affect his judgement in the slightest or he would have had issues at the gender bender party and every other time they saw each other at the school.
My point about him just calling Justin up to hang out still stands.
New User Handle

Probably because Sarah's wangst is related to one of the main characters and actually affects the plot, while Justin's wangst is either outside the main plot (for now), or doesn't really affect it.
I assume Noah will somehow get involved, which is how Justin's wangst will become center stage.
