(Mod edit to add a courtesy link to El Goonish Shive.)
Yay! Its back again! I stagger my reading of it to Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday cause there aren't enough good webcomics on those days, so I am not the best person to lead a real time discussion, but it really needs a thread. So in Monday's we see the mysterious return of the dark figure. (linky)
Who is starting to sound really, really desperate.
Also, is it just the art upgrade, or does Ellen's green ray seem more... jeeze, what is a same word to use? Powerful? More powerful then usual?

Justin doesn't have the full fledged magic gig like the others. He's still basic Anime Style Martial Arts.
With Nanase I believe it's a combination of the Susan incident and there's more to her family than meets the eye.
When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way!I definitely agree with that, although I think Grace is always a bit too diabetic, so I'm biased that way.
New User HandleShive is pretty good about covering up certain plot holes. Some of them, less so, but the ones he'd be aware of he is usually good about. Usually.
It could be either way, but I do hope if he did retcon, that the trolls are not going to be some meaningless subplot.
New User HandleI don't have a problem with the arc either. I just have problem with the characterization, but that's an ongoing thing.
:/.
New User HandleMeh, this joke was definitely forced
◊
The commentary for the recent sketchbook thing pisses me off. Not me pissed off at Dan, not this time anyway. It's more of general pissed offishness at myself, because I'm still in highschool, and I am horribly paranoid my stories are crap as well.
New User HandleThe plot thins
. Or thickens. Could go either way, really. Things could get more complicated, or more likely go the way I thought it was really going from jump.

Merph. I really would of preferred if it had gotten interlooped with fairy view. Instead of telling, we actually saw.
Also, that jogger's motion positively sucked. He falls into that 'posing' problem artists give when they can't draw action...

New User Handle@Known: uhm, the art is good?
Seriously though, I have been semi complimenting the improving quality of Dan's commentary. Although why he feels the need to phrase Sarah's hairstyle happening before like 'this is NOT the first time we saw her like this!' as if to justify his decision, is beyond me.
Also, once again, running pose in the first panel is bad, he needs to really work more on that, but I do like Susan summing up my thoughts in one coherent word.

New User HandleYAAAAAAAAY OMEGA GRACE!
I don't know why, but I can't look at Omega Grace without thinking of Tedd's reaction to first seeing that form.
I'm in your fanfiction, correcting your spelling.*clears throat* I do believe this page was less crappy than normal
:D
Now leave me alone.
New User HandleHey, that was directed towards Known, not you. And I was being completely sincere. None of the jokes were badly done, and the commentary was amusing enough.

New User HandleI really like EGS, the plot, mythology and characters are really likable, but I don't think I'm the only one who disliked all the Ellen/Nanase focus lately. Just cause Shive's a Yuri Fanboy doesn't justify all the unnecessary focus on the lesbians (though I might be a bit biased in that respect, since I'm somewhat against GLBT. I've got nothing against Justin though).
Likes many underrated webcomics

hm...What about Nanase and Justin? Is their suffering bit the whole closeting gay bit?
