My grandpa thinks he's this badass farmer, he eats potatoes out of the ground without washing them claiming there's "more nutrients" that way. That's sick. My grandparents are conservative right-wing, as are both of my parents. They're crazy enough to make me change my mind on politics!

"A badass farmer", now that's something I'd like to see. For most of the ones I know, the most badass things they do is get a finger ripped off by a combine and stuff like that. Nothing impressive.

Okay, here are two questions for you, Tv Tropes:

  • Being asexual, gender-weird and panromantic, does that make me eligible to speak from a "queer" perspective? Am I allowed to use the word queer?
  • I asked this a while ago with no answer: Is Luz Tortov a Sinister Minister if heshe isn't evil or corrupt, just creepy-looking? (mostly because of their Eyeless Face and Dissonant Serenity) Well, they did get an altar boy addicted to alcoholic candies, but that was a kind of on accident. They also belong to a church semi-militant and carry a polearm. (it's like... a simple staff with a blade in it so the sharp edges of the blade stick out on either side. it's not sharpened where the handhold is, so if you just grab it without training you'll probably get cut)

Meaty: Doesn't seem Sinister Minister to me. At least, I think there needs to be a degree of deliberate maliciousness to count, you know?

Okay. I need a simile. Anyone have a simile that would work for flesh sloughing  *

off a body?

A snake shedding its skin would be a bit unoriginal, wouldn't it...

Hmmm... no, that's not quite right. Fitting, but yet it doesn't fit.

Does it need to be a simile? Maybe just a really good verb.

Some writing.

No, and no.

Hmm... maybe I should stick with sloughing and ditch the simile...

Perhaps a mudslide? One where the mud on top has formed a tough skin?

(going back to last night) The Language of Truth page mentions Gödel. How's that for synchronicity...
