From out of left field:
I think my project for this week is going to be building myself a set of arcade-style DDR pads. You can buy them, but it costs about $250-$300 per pad, at minimum, just to have them shipped to Alaska. Luckily I live upstairs from my cousin, who has a lot of power tools.
Updates later this week on how this crazy scheme pans out, assuming I end up going through with it.
Edit: Incidentally, these updates will come with pictures, for the curious.

I can't get the materials I need in this town (which shouldn't have come as a surprise, really), so I have them on order. Depending on how fast shipping is, I might not have any pictures 'til next week.

Anyway, I figured the usual protocol for after the ceremony is to go to someone's house, and maybe there have drinks and food. With other funerals I've attended, that's how it's been done. It is another thing to go to a...steakhouse, I guess it was, and have catered open bar/free appetizers. A good thing, to be certain, and if you have the money.
I wrote about a fish turning into the moon. It's spring again and the seasonal allergies are back. Also, it's a warm day, with high pressure mounting and strong northeasterly breezes. It's always worst on these days. Watery eyes, sneezing.
I don't really like warm spring days.
Also, on days like these, for some reason I always build up a strong electrical charge, so I have come to fear door handles and crosswalk buttons on such days.
