Oh hey look, an interesting article
The last one was pretty interesting, since I've also been thinking of something in those lines, but lacked the knowledge of psychology to define it, really.
Also, are we self-critical enough to look for cases in our midst? I suggest not doing that, easy way to stir up a shitstorm.

◊ had absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the article, but it was a source of unexpected hot, and thus I approve.
And I'm not even a hard science guy. Yes, yes, go ahead and get the boner-related pun out of your system, I'll be waiting.
Otherwise, to that article I say: meh. It's really nothing more than shallowly linking up personality disorders with internet behavior. Correcting people's grammar obviously isn't OCD, and raging over the internet is vastly different than throwing a chair or something.
Though I guess it might make a useful study guide for 4chan kids taking abnormal psych classes. They could have a card with one side marked "Intermittent Explosive Disorder" and the other marked "Ffffffff-"

Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count Dorku'Hot'?
... okay, whatever. I'd've said 'cute' at most, but meh.
A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!Well, I wasn't going to post this, but please allow me to follow JQW's Cracked article with one of my own:[1]
The number one way is...well, it makes sense, but it scares me.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."

Same here, Lucky Revenant. I like the fact that people only know what I choose to reveal of myself here. I like having an online persona dissociated from my real life identity. I don't take advantage of it that much—I posted pictures of myself on the photo thread and whatnot—but still. I really hope it doesn't come to that.
Also:
I-is that really the reaction of most guys to empty rooms? Is there something wrong with me!?!!?
Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count DorkuI love the fact that this persona I use here is not the same as my real identity. They're not mutually exclusive, but at least the people here would never judge me if I had a criminal record because you wouldn't know if I chose not to tell you. (Note: I don't have a criminal record. It was just an example)
As an aside, has anyone else noticed the similarities between the idea of Wiki Magic and the Bystander Effect
? Namely that they are the same thing?
Hmm, I think this forum is where I act most honestly about my personality. I'm not this outgoing in real life. We all wear masks, as it were.
I do know I act far less civil on some forums.
As for the mepty room part, well, not exactly that reaction, but I have done some weird things just because I was in a semi-public place, and I knew no-one would see.
For the most part, I act the same here as I do everywhere else. However, there are some places where I'm just different. For instance, in the real world, I'm a lot more snarky. I tend to make a lot of stupid comments without thinking, but I think most of us do that.
The core of my personality remains the same, though. It's just the little details that makes it exciting that change.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."So, I'm thinking of getting into Let's Plays. Anyone have any advice? I imagine I'd need Fraps, some sort of editing software like Windows Movie Maker, and something to record a separate dialogue track with...
Not actually back. That is, have a voice that is resonant and not monotonous. If you go for subtitles, have somebody proofread them; it gives a project a professional look.
A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!Good improvisation skills make all the difference in a Let's Play if your voice can be heard. Do your best.
On internet anonymity—real life tsundere here, but only if you get really close. Get really, really close and I just love you. Somehow, internet conversation rests outside the danger zone.
Some writing.Oh, Cracked links. A good excuse to link to this: http://www.cracked.com/article_17016_p2.html
Might as well link to another one, for hilarity: [1]

I think Conservapedia might be a blight on politics. An entertaining one, but one nonetheless.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."Eh, I choked on that article's take on WikiFur. Even though I no longer associate with the Furry Fandom that much *, furbashing is still a sore spot for me.

I had a few sorta-friends from the Second Life teen grid who were into the whole Furzi thing. It always struck me as odd, although Nazism does have some sadomasochistic over- WAIT JUST A SECOND...

Oh, right, sorry. Link edited.
