Swimming...? Is this supposed to be an overly long extended metaphor? Is it not? Or could it be both?

Some writing.

@Noimporta:Reh-ne-ne-noo-nah-now!

I should just put *imitates guitar*. I don't because I'm too manly to use asterisks in such a demeaning way.

I've been swimming since I was 2 so I've always wondered how does one not know how to swim?

Well, Fedora Pirate, sometimes you throw a child into a lake, and sometimes that child doesn't come back up.

Before the invention of benevolent parenting, this was the primary reason parents had twelve or more children.

I used to be the same way, Fedora. Then I didn't swim for seven years. When I did again, I almost drowned.

All right; I'll play.

I spent a year or two on a swim team as a late elementary-early middle schooler, but the only race I didn't lose by a long shot I was disqualified from. I never went back; there was no reason.

... I'm still trying to parse "Texas" and "frigid" in the same sentence. For that matter, 'stable' doesn't look like it quite belongs either >.>

A fan gets his little Haruhi figurine.

This is what I figure the typical anime fan is like.

That's nothing. Japanese fanboys have RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE'd when they suspect one of their favorite female characters may not be a virgin. It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

NSFW

Hey, never mind, it's still hilarious.

EDIT: There's another link I'd like to show but the weird characters on the URL make it impossible for me to show here.
