Anyone know any good fics to read?
Rodimus: Self-sacrifice, Magnus— It's cheap. It's a cheap way out. I need to live so I can make amends. So, looks like there's some more info on "Genesic Re;Code" now that it was officially released two days ago. Namely that it appears there will be different storylines taking place across history all connected to Geass in some manner. Certainly would explain how Renya can be around since he was in Feudal times.
- "Crimson of the Blood Pact" appears to be set in ancient China, as one of the characters, Ryuso, is confirmed to be Li Xingke's ancestor.
- "Arthur on the Misty Streets" is set in Victorian London, as the main character and his partner, Arthur Holmes and Conan Watson, are blatant nods to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his characters. Another character is on the hunt for a blatant reference to the infamous Serial Killer Jack the Ripper.
- "Toshizoh the Unwavering" is set in Edo Japan, as the title character is Hijikata Toshizoh, the Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi, with Okita Souji likewise appearing.
- "Zeo of the End" appears to be the odd one out, since instead of past, it seems to be set in the future, as one of the characters in it, Luxe, is confirmed to be a type of android called a "Knightmare Doll".

Rodimus: Self-sacrifice, Magnus— It's cheap. It's a cheap way out. I need to live so I can make amends. So, been about a year. Not sure if this is considered necroing or anything, but I figured this would be the place to share this. According to Genesic Re:Code... Lelouch has kids. With C.C., Kallen, Nunnally, and Suzaku.
Okay, to call them his kids is a tad inaccurate, but it's close enough. The game introduces four familiar looking children, whose names share the pattern of "El[German Number]", and they're all clones created using the genetics templates of both Lelouch and someone close to him, and look as if they were indeed the children of those people. They also pilot white and red variations of well known Knightmares called LDM.
Sad thing is, Eldrei's design is the one I like the most, and yet she is the most problematic considering her genetic parentage. We all know Lelouch has a sister complex, but I doubt anyone expected him and Nunnally to ever have a kid.

Rodimus: Self-sacrifice, Magnus— It's cheap. It's a cheap way out. I need to live so I can make amends.I mean with three of those Lelouch definitely had tension. Nunally though is…lol. That’s going a bit too far.
I remember someone editing the Geass trope pages cause they hated and dismissed the idea there was ever meant to be anything between Lelouch and Suzaku, even though Ohkouchis other work includes stuff like Devilman Crybaby, Sk 8, and Valrave with similar dynamics between male characters where there is ABSOLUTELY meant to be that kind of tension between male characters.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. The best ending for all those characters(And Jeremiah) was them being Isekai’d and running a pizza restaurant in Granblue Fantasy anyways.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. The best part is that Eldrei is the tallest sibling. Like taller than Lelouch big.
The other three barely come up to Lelouch chest.
Edit: Also for those who want to know, the company that makes re:Genesis Code is the same one that makes another Geass game. Genesis Code is the one with Sunrise direct involvement though.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. And, I found an image of them with the Ashford Student Council, including C.C., Euphemia, and the player character of the game.
This is, quite frankly, surreal.
This isn't even the weirdest timeline in the game, though it certainly feels like it.
- Timeline where Lelouch died protecting Shirley and she becomes Zero in his place.
- Timeline where Lelouch took C.C.'s advise with Geassing Suzaku, Nunnally got killed, then Lelouch made him slaughter Britannian's indiscriminately, including Euphemia, and he broke free after killing Charles and Jeremiah then turned psycho.
- Timeline where Nunnally is made into a Puppet King as Empress with Jeremiah and V.V. at her side.

Rodimus: Self-sacrifice, Magnus— It's cheap. It's a cheap way out. I need to live so I can make amends. Those aren’t the only ones:
We have Stage 26 which is a Take a Third Option to the ending of the first season where Charles personally intervenes in the rebellion, only for V.V. To kill his brother.
Or the Shirley Valentines AU where she got to be with Lelouch only for him to die and for her to become his successor, following plans he set up in case of his death with CC as the pilot of a new Gawain. Rolo is also heavily involved in that one alongside Shirley.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I have got to get faster at editing.
Rodimus: Self-sacrifice, Magnus— It's cheap. It's a cheap way out. I need to live so I can make amends.A new musical got announced today.
This is actually the third stage adaptation.
Suzaku and Lelouch are "double main characters".
Suzaku will be played by Ryotaro Akazawa (Angelo
in Cesare - Il Creatore che ha distrutto)
Lelouch will be played by Koji Kominami (Yusuke
in the Persona 5 stage plays)
So... um. Lulu is probably the most important character to me in my entire life (him and Kurda Smahlt), and I just got really, really into Cesare because Cesare reminded me of Lelouch (yes, it's about Cesare Borgia).
So just. Angelo. Suzaku. I'm very excited for this.
(No other cast, director, composer or anything announced yet.)

It may be weeks old but this is very relevant to the thread: Character Designer Takahiro Kimura passed away on March 5
.
Before anyone says that it's CLAMP who served as character designer, you're not wrong but it's Kimura who refined CLAMP's designs to work in animation (per the May 2007 issue of Newtype magazine).

aaaaaaaa— seeing love for him and anyone who knows him and !!!! is always nice. Hi I'm that one person who wrote all the Fix Fic things about him—
Kimura also did those lovely illustrations in many of the endings (I believe the original season, and Akito, but R2 was CLAMP's OTT ones, right?). Those were some of my favorite parts of the series, since I love just seeing the characters being gentle with each other... I'll miss his art.
For the musical, I'm a little attached to the idea of this one actor as Lloyd, and then I just thought, what if Hama Takeshi
composed the music (which like... unlikely since he has no connection to Geass and hasn't done a musical yet as far as I know, but he should, and Geass would be perfect for his style—).... AAA WHAT. SO. Hama Takeshi composed the ending of Maoyu..!!! aaa I did not know that omg. Unknown Vision.

The game Lelouch of the Rebellion Lost Stories
decided to reveal a What If? Knightmare Frame had Lelouch and Kallen not stolen the Gawain from Schneizel. Introducing the Zero Kagero
, a Knightmare Frame modelled after the Guren Type-II and meant to act as a Commander Model in place of Zero's Burai. It was in mid-production when Kallen and Lelouch stole the Gawain, after which it got shelved and then brought back out to serve as the basis for the Shinkiro.
Of similar note is the Sougetsu
. As Oz the Reflection established that Rai did at one point possess the Lancelot Club, now in Nonette's possession, the game decided to enact Cutting Off the Branches by having Rai's alternate Knightmare, the Gekka Pre-Production Test Type, be upgraded into the Sougetsu, acting as the Knightmare of the player character as part of the Black Knights.
Well, it's well over a decade old at this point, but it's probably still my favorite anime of all time, so I hope you enjoy it! I just hope you haven't been spoiled on any of the major plot points. It's a wild, wild ride!
I'm glad you're still planning to watch it, at least! I've found I like it even more on subsequent re-watches, so I don't think being spoiled on those details completely ruin the experience. It's just more fun to hear about people going in blind and marveling at the twists and turns, I guess!
Bear in mind that the movie continuity and the TV series continuity are different. What I would personally recommend is watching the TV series to get the full original experience, then looking up the differences in the movie continuity afterward, and then going straight to the fourth movie.
GM: AGOG S4 & F/WC RP; Co-GM: TABA, SOTR, UUA RP; Sub-GM: TTS RP. I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Empire.Just finished reading Nightmare of Nunnally! It was... a trip, to say the least! Even having read extensive spoilers, I was not prepared.
I liked it on the whole, though! Has anyone else here read it, and if so, what did you think of it? Or, have you not read it yet but are planning to?
