I'm watching footage of Jodie being shown cosplay of the 13th Doctor and gosh I love how important her Doctor already is.
Also I'm listening to an interview where she's talking about the perception that Yorkshire actors can't play roles like the Doctor where you're brainy and brilliant, so it makes me all the more happy that she's using her natural accent.
that's a point, what DID the Doctor do with the most dangerous weapon ever created. I mean, the moment is alive and could possiblt decide to piss off where ever she likes, but, she also say in a vault for ever and let her self be abducted in the first place.
I imagine they were able to get into the time war because the moment is the thing which created the time lock, and was also the thing that brought them there.

Alright Ten. All is forgiven.
Watch David's reaction to who Ten is.
Yeah it's pretty clear the Moment let them through the Time war's time lock.
San Diego Comic Con teaser?

Some great news from Big Finish:
Derek Jacobi returns in three more box sets, with The War Master: The Master of Callous coming in December.
For anyone who has though about trying the Audiobooks but hasn't... Humble Bundle is at this moment running a Dr Who/Torchwood audiobook bundle.
I'm debating whether to get the first or second tier on that bundle. Are the torchwood audios good? I might just get the second tier because 6 quid for dark eyes is a pretty decent deal, even if I've already listened to it.
New writers and directors!
I recognise one of those names...
So, the Edmonton comic and Entertainment Expo is coming in a few days.
We are getting a DW triple threat: David Tennant, Matt Smith, and John Barrowman are all appearing.
I'm hoping I can make it there (money is a little tight), but I already got a question for David and Matt...don't worry. I won't bring up Donna. I'm done with that.
Basically, I plan to ask them to choose one story from another Doctor's tenure, and try and figure out how their version of the Doctor would handle it. Sounds interesting huh?
Not sure what I'm going to ask John though. Maybe something Series/Arrow related, but I might ask who he thinks would win a fight between a completely mortal Jack Harkness and Malcolm Merlynn.
Why would they fight?
Captain Jack would probably try to charm Merlyn's pants off first chance he got.

The iTunes store quickly managed to take it down, but the air date can still be seen on the app version of the store.

Also, because it was their retweet that pointed me to this, Who Back When had recorded and will be releasing a (Fa~ake) Doctor Who audiobook and have released their teaser poster for it: Operation Pandorica
Side note: Has anyone else been having issues with this particular thread showing up on their followed threads list? Or threads in general not showing up? I wanted to know if it was just me or now be I reported anything about it.

I had problems with it a few weeks back, but it's working fine now. It sort of... fixed itself one day.
It's official, the 7th of October is when the new season starts.

Also the season is now available for pre order on Amazon prime video and, likely, other places, too.
Apparently people in the comments hate the music
and the bbc is pushing an "agenda"
The main complaints seem to focus on how not subtle the metaphor is.
Which, if you're expecting subtle metaphors from Dr. Who the question becomes...why?
Is anyone reserving judgement until the release date, or when the whole season comes out for binge-watching? Or is it just me?
My judgment is fairly reserved, yes.
I am not really looking forward to the new series. Chibnall's previous work hasn't made any impression on me - since I have not been enticed to watch any of it; I cannot stand Bradley Walsh; none of the Paternoster Gang are showing up; and none of the rest of the characters l enjoyed watching for the last decade or so are appearing either.
This is according to the BBC'S bumph about the new series, so it's probably all bullshit, but if true it makes this the least attractive proposition for me since the launch of Nu!Who.
Personally I'm eager. New season new Doctor, new companions. It's like when we went from the Tenth to the Eleventh, a clean break from before.
Not sure why the Paternoster Gang is a big deal. They only appeared in the Twelfth Doctor's first story anyway, so no biggie if they're phased out for the Thirteenth.

Yeah, no Missy and no River is always a plus for me. Wretched characters.
I must say, im glad there's no plan for Daleks to show up. I'm not sure if I agree with the reasoning, but i think it's a good thing.
There are so many old species they could use: Zarbi, Ogrons, Axos, or my personal dream the Voord.
Well, my real personal dream is for Alex Macqueen's Master to show up.
Probably an equally poor chance of either of those happening.
