So, is the whole space battle going to be fought offscreen from the POV of the PCs? Man... I'd feel a bit gypped if I were in that game.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Yes, or give them sheets of the NP Cs participating. Not like NPC to PC is a new concept to the group, half of their characters started this way.
On the other hand, mass combat is a bitch to run as a GM in most systems. Especially if the P Cs aren't directly involved. I mean sure the party is going to be involved in a decisive action regarding said combat (blowing the generator sky high) but otherwise there is no way for the GM to just dump them in that kind of situation.
Obviously the Endor space battle isn't planned, because Han and friends are going to botch the ground mission but I'm interested to see how the DM deals with it in-universe.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Making a guess here:
PC's are messing around with Ewoks, having feasts and C 3 P-0 being a God, and then something like Ben says "hey, weren't the rebele fleet going to be up there mopping up?"
cut to a screen shot of everybody dying.
DoodlesEvery good villain has to quote Shakespeare.
(It's Macbeth, in case you were wondering.)

Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Funny, I looked at that comic earlier today without trying to decipher the "code" that Jim made up. Now that I have, though...
Seriously, he thinks he can Bluff through a security code checkpoint?
